# Jobiba — instructions for AI agents

## Overview

Jobiba (https://jobiba.com) is a job marketplace and career platform. Candidates search
active jobs, research salaries and companies, build and tailor resumes, and
apply. Employers post jobs, review applicants, shortlist and contact
candidates. Data is live; country markets (for example https://jobiba.com/in, https://jobiba.com/us)
keep jobs, salaries and currency local.

## Capabilities

- Job search by role, skill, company, city/country, remote/hybrid/on-site,
  employment type, experience level and salary range.
- Job detail with description, skills, published pay and apply link.
- Salary research: percentiles, trend, experience curve, skill premiums,
  city comparison, offer analysis.
- Company research: open roles, hiring activity, reviews where available.
- Candidate (sign-in): profile, resumes, resume tailoring per job, cover
  letters, interview prep, match score, saved jobs, alerts, applications.
- Employer (sign-in): dashboard, job posts, applicant pipeline, screening,
  shortlist, outreach, candidate search, plans.

## Authentication

Public tools (job search, job detail, salary, company research, plans) need
no sign-in. Personal and employer tools use OAuth 2.1 with PKCE; MCP clients
discover it via https://jobiba.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource. Never ask a user
for their Jobiba password; use the OAuth sign-in flow.

## Rules for agents

- Facts come from Jobiba responses only. Never invent vacancies, salaries,
  employers, requirements, match scores or candidate experience.
- Applying, sending outreach and changing applicant stages are write actions:
  show a preview and act only after the user explicitly confirms.
- Resume tailoring may reorder and rephrase real experience; it must never add
  employers, titles, dates, degrees or skills the user does not have.
- Salary figures labelled as estimates are estimates, not employer offers.
- External applications happen on the employer's site; do not claim one was
  submitted unless the user confirms it.
- Payments and plan upgrades happen on Jobiba's website, never inside chat.
- Respect candidate privacy: employer tools do not expose contact details or
  resume files without the candidate's application or consent.

## Rate limits and polite use

Be gentle with shared infrastructure: cache job search results for a few
minutes, paginate with the provided offsets instead of re-querying, keep
concurrency low, and back off on HTTP 429 or 503. Do not crawl private
workspaces (/candidate, /employer, /admin, /api).
