This role begins with a 6-week internship designed for early-career professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in the shipping industry. Key Responsibilities

Manage Bookings Take full responsibility for arranging vessel bookings, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling of shipments.

Coordinate with Vessel Teams Communicate effectively with vessel teams to confirm bookings, address inquiries, and resolve any operational issues.

Oversee Operations Handle all logistics operations related to ocean freight, ensuring smooth execution from booking to delivery.

Data Management Collect, clean, and organize logistics data from various internal sources to maintain accurate records.

Support Reporting Assist in maintaining databases, dashboards, and reporting tools to provide insights on operational performance.

Conduct Data Validation Perform checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data related to bookings and vessel operations.

Prepare Reports Help prepare summaries and reports for internal teams, providing insights into operational efficiency and performance.

Collaborate on Projects Work with team members on data-driven projects and process improvements to enhance operational workflows.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related fields. Basic understanding of logistics management and operations. Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets for data organization and reporting. Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset. Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges in a dynamic environment. Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Ability to work remotely and deliver tasks on time.
