The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot, and Microservices Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs Implement secure and high-performance applications Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices Perform unit testing (JUnit/Mockito) and ensure code quality Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing Work in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams Troubleshoot and resolve production issues Contribute to system design and architectural discussions Mandatory Skills: Strong hands-on experience in Java 8+ (preferably Java 17) Expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, DI) Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture Experience with Hibernate / JPA Strong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms Experience in API development (REST/SOAP) Hands-on experience in JUnit / Mockito Knowledge of Design Patterns & Principles Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL Exposure to CI/CD tools (Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps) Knowledge of JSON libraries (Jackson/GSON) Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands Strong understanding of Agile methodologies Good to Have: Experience with Kafka / Messaging systems Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS EKS) Experience with SonarQube, security scans, and code quality tools Knowledge of multithreading and concurrency Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) Experience in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) Soft Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Experience in mentoring team members and conducting code reviews
