Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead our solar energy projects, including both rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations, from conception through execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the renewable energy sector, with at least 10 years of experience in successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple solar energy projects, including rooftop and ground-mounted installations, ensuring alignment with company goals, timelines, and budgets. Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, schedules, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to achieve project goals. Team Management: Oversee project teams, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and collaboration among team members. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives and expectations. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project timelines and deliverables. Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints. Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations and best practices. Reporting: Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management, including progress reports, financial analyses, and risk assessments. Land Acquisition: Manage land acquisition processes for solar projects, including negotiations and compliance with local regulations, ensuring timely acquisition of necessary permits and land rights. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, utilizing CRM tools to track project interactions, ensure client satisfaction, and identify opportunities for further collaboration. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations related to solar energy, land use, and environmental impact. After-Sale Services: Oversee all after-sale services, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support, to ensure client satisfaction and optimal performance of solar installations. Finalizing Bill of Quantities (BOQs): Prepare and finalize BOQs for projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications and budgets. Training and Development: Provide training and support to project team members and stakeholders on best practices in project management and solar energy technologies. Candidates should be comfortable with site visits / fieldwork.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on renewable energy projects, specifically solar rooftop and ground-mounted installations. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead project teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and familiarity with solar energy technology and engineering principles. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing project challenges. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
