UX / Usabiity Testing Specialist

A financial services provider which serves multiple product lines across consumer, commercial and SME finance and offers 24 products spread across 12 product lines, is considered to be one of the fastest growing and most diversified NBFCs in India. Currently, the firm is looking to hire a UX/Usability Testing Specialist.

Job Role/Position: UX / Usability Testing Specialist Industry - IT Work Location - Pune Work Mode - ONSITE (Workdays - 5 days a week) Qualifications:- Graduation Required Work Experience:- 2-5 years Notice Period - 30 days

Role & Responsibilities

Define and evaluate user workflows, journeys, and interaction flows for digital products Create low to mid-fidelity wireframes or prototypes purely for concept validation and usability testing Conduct usability testing, prototype testing, and concept validation sessions with users Identify friction points, usability issues, and workflow gaps before product development Translate business and product ideas into testable concepts and scenarios Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to validate feasibility and improve workflows early in the lifecycle Iterate on workflows and concepts based on user feedback, testing insights, and behavioral observations Provide clear, actionable recommendations to improve product experience and usability

Ideal Candidate (Mandatory Requirements)

Strong Usability / UX Testing and Validation Profiles Must have 3+ YOE in product validation, usability testing, design thinking, or experience testing roles, working on digital products Must have hands-on experience in designing user journeys, workflows, and interaction flows for web or mobile applications Strong experience in creating wireframes, low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar Must have practical experience conducting usability testing, prototype testing, and concept validation with users before product release Experience in identifying usability issues, user friction points, and iterating designs based on feedback and testing insights Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, and design thinking methodologies Ability to translate business requirements into intuitive, user-friendly design solutions and prototypes Basic understanding of user behavior and usability heuristics to improve overall product experience Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, or similar tools Candidates from B2C consumer-facing digital product companies, fintech, e-commerce, or product-driven organizations preferred

Note - This is NOT a UI/UX Design role. We are looking for Usability / Design testing candidates who specialize in testing product concepts, validating workflows, and creating prototypes purely for experimentation and usability testing.

Preferred Requirements

Exposure to A/B testing, user research methods, design systems, or behavioral analysis is a plus
