What you’ll do As an Account Executive on the Platforms team, focused on existing business, you will use sales and product expertise to drive growth with existing Stripe users. You will help customers understand how Stripe’s online commerce infrastructure can make payments a competitive advantage for their businesses. These customers include innovative, fast-growing software platforms. Responsibilities Manage and grow a named account list. Develop account plans to win and expand business with upper middle market and enterprise companies. Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives, and coordinate the right executive touchpoints. Contribute to Stripe’s platform partnership strategy, repeatable processes, and scaled engagement models. Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities. Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation through close, for upper middle market and enterprise companies. Develop relationships with executive stakeholders at new and existing clients. Partner with leaders across Engineering, Product, and Finance to lead complex product workshops and financial analyses. Lead and contribute to team projects that develop and refine the sales process. About the Role We are hiring a partner director to operationalize, activate, and manage strategic partner relationships in Australia - owning the journey from contract signature to full-scale execution. This role will own all aspects of the partner lifecycle in Australia, from selecting the appropriate potential partners, assessing their alignment with our requirements, onboarding newly signed partners, driving enablement, coordinating joint solution development, and ensuring commercial activation. You will be the connective tissue between OpenAI and the partner’s delivery, technical, and sales organizations to ensure the partnership delivers results. This role will report to the APAC Partnerships Lead in Singapore, and this role will be based in Sydney, Australia.
