As a Commercial Development Manager, you'll lead commercialization strategy and execution for assigned products and programs, with a focus on supporting the follow-up colonoscopy program. You'll translate business objectives into actionable marketing, financial, and cross-functional plans that drive product adoption, growth, and long-term business performance.
What You'll Work On
- Develop and execute short- and long-term commercialization, positioning, and competitive strategies to support product growth, market share, revenue, and profit objectives.
- Create and implement marketing programs, sales tools, promotional materials, advertising plans, and product messaging that enable effective field execution and strengthen product branding.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with Sales, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Logistics, Public Affairs, Marketing, executive leadership, and external partners to deliver strategic programs and business objectives.
- Manage product financial performance, including AP&G budgets, sales revenue, profit margin, and P&L-related objectives; analyze results and present business and marketing programs to senior leadership.
- Use market research, customer insights, claims testing, and data analysis to inform product strategy, evaluate opportunities, and support commercialization decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Three (3) or more years of progressively responsible product or brand marketing experience in healthcare, OTC, consumer packaged goods, or a combination of these areas.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management experience, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and present effectively to senior management.
- Strong analytical, business, and financial management skills, including experience evaluating product performance, revenue, margins, and business results.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree; MBA strongly preferred due to the business complexity and strategic focus of the position.
- Experience developing product positioning, competitive selling strategies, and commercialization plans for complex products or services.
- Experience managing advertising, promotional, market research, or agency/vendor initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience with product-level financial ownership, budget administration, and P&L accountability.
