Position Overview: This program is a ten-week internship crafted to provide interns with the opportunity to gain outstanding experience working across a broad spectrum of Freddie Mac’s key capital markets desks. The key focus is to develop future portfolio managers by providing real world training experiences with the goal of learning the full mortgage capital markets life cycle while also providing desk-specific knowledge. Interns will get a chance to learn, be mentored by and work alongside best-in-class professionals on various desks to analyze and support our mission of Making Home Possible. Job Summary:
Our Beacon program is seeking a highly experienced Desk Officer, with Spanish language skills, to support our mission to counter global threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intelligence analysis, operations, and counterintelligence, with a focus on supporting complex operations. You will be responsible for providing analytical support to operational personnel, managing, and tracking cases, and conducting research and analysis to inform operational decisions.
Requirements: Requires possession of a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Candidates who do not possess this clearance will be disqualified.
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 7 years of direct customer experience focused on intelligence operations and analysis.
• Language Proficiency: Spanish 3+
• Certifications: Relevant professional certifications are preferred.
Experience:
• Experience supporting complex operations or programs.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience working in a global or regional context.
• Experience in multiple areas, such as countering illicit activities, intelligence analysis, or counterterrorism.
