  • Lead the development and deployment of AI-driven operational solutions, including computer vision and machine learning applications that enhance quality, operational efficiency, and warehouse performance.
  • Define and execute the organization’s Generative AI strategy and roadmap, including technology and platform selection, prioritized use cases, pilot programs, adoption and capability building, and responsible AI governance.
  • Drive advanced manufacturing and energy analytics that enable data-driven improvements in product quality, process consistency, operational performance, and resource efficiency.
  • Establish value measurement and executive reporting frameworks that quantify and communicate the business impact of analytics and AI initiatives across productivity, cost, service, quality, and operational performance

Team Leadership & Talent

  • Build and lead a global, follow-the-sun analytics team across the US, our India Global Capability Center, and Vietnam
  • Own hiring end to end: role definition, structured evaluation, technical screens, and calibration across markets
  • Develop people deliberately — growing specialists into leaders and supporting both leadership and senior individual-contributor career paths
  • Run a disciplined operating cadence of 1:1s, skip-levels, and team meetings

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Serve as the bridge between Global Operations and IT, aligning priorities across security, cost, and speed
  • Communicate up and across: strategic planning, executive readouts, and coordination with teams in the US, India, Vietnam, and Mexico
  • Manage external vendors and service providers supporting data feeds, telemetry, and platform tooling

Data Foundation (in partnership with IT)

  • Direct the pipeline and integration work that feeds the analytics stack — Snowflake ingestion from ERP/WMS, asset-management, and facility telemetry sources — and hold it to production standards
  • Instill engineering discipline where it protects the business: version control for BI assets, monitoring, SLAs, and documentation

Technical Competencies: (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • 10+ years across analytics, business intelligence, and data-driven operations, including several years leading teams in a global, cross-functional environment
  • Expert, hands-on skills in Power BI (semantic modeling, DAX, M, deployment practices), SQL, and Python, with strong working command of Snowflake
  • Working knowledge of operations research and simulation for warehouse and supply-chain problems, plus applied machine learning including computer vision
  • Practical generative AI/LLM literacy — RAG, prompt engineering, agentic patterns, platform evaluation — with a governance-first mindset
  • Enough data-engineering fluency to direct integration and pipeline work on a modern cloud platform (Azure preferred) and hold it to production standards
  • Proven people leadership: hiring across geographies, structured candidate evaluation, and a record of developing individual contributors into leaders
  • Strong executive communication and the confidence to constructively challenge the status quo, driving change through influence
  • Based in (or willing to relocate to) the Dallas–Fort Worth area, with the ability to travel to Carlsbad, CA and internationally as needed

Nice to Have:

  • Manufacturing, distribution, or consumer-goods operations experience
  • Microsoft Azure and Snowflake platform knowledge
  • Exposure to OT/industrial data historians (e.g., Ignition) and OT–IT integration
  • Familiarity with the SAP data landscape (Datasphere, BW/4HANA, CDC tooling)
  • Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory/ML, and Azure OpenAI / AI Foundry
  • Completion of a formal leadership development program

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science,  or equivalent additional work experience required.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in business operations, data analysis, project management, or acting as a liaison between business units and IT.
  • Strong conceptual understanding of big data infrastructure (e.g., data lakes, data warehouses, cloud storage) and the ability to comfortably communicate with software engineers and DBAs.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Intermediate proficiency in SQL (for data validation) and experience with project management tools
