Job Title: Locum Biomedical Scientist – Blood Transfusion Banding: Band 6 or 7 equivalent Location: Edinburgh Rate: £33 - £39 per hour DOE Start date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Working hours: All shift patterns available An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Biomedical Scientist specialising in Blood Transfusion to join a modern and well-equipped private laboratory in Edinburgh. This role is suited to a Band 6 or Band 7 professional with strong transfusion experience and hands-on expertise using Grifols analysers, looking to work within a high-performing laboratory team on a flexible shift basis. What will your responsibilities be: • Perform routine and specialist Blood Transfusion testing in accordance with laboratory procedures and quality standards • Operate, maintain and troubleshoot Grifols analysers to ensure accurate and timely test results • Undertake blood group
