This role is responsible for accurately selecting merchandise based on store orders and preparing items for shipment. Responsibilities Pick merchandise according to store orders, ensuring accuracy in item location, description, and quantity. Place items on pallets or conveyors using safe lifting techniques. Secure pallets with tape and shrink wrap for transport. Maintain a clean and organized work area by following all safety guidelines. Assist with general housekeeping to keep aisles clear of debris. Participate in training for additional warehouse duties. Qualifications Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. A Brief Overview Assists in maintaining elevated levels of accuracy and performance to meet the needs of store orders while utilizing safe work practices. What you will do Compiles store orders from a tablet or pick ticket to include item locations, descriptions and quantity needed. Gathers the needed pieces of merchandise to ensure proper placement into totes or boxes. Loads totes or boxes of merchandise that can be up to 30-50 pounds to ensure safe lifting techniques. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following safety guidelines. Performs general housekeeping to ensure working area and aisles are clear of debris. Follows routine assignments that require some problem resolution for the distribution function. Matches daily tasks with company-defined standard operating procedures and scientific methods to ensure best practices. Enters the data for ins and outs to ensure tasks related to picking and packaging are completed. Position Summary $19.00 / hour 1st shift only: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3PM As an RX stocker, you will stock cases of pharmacy merchandise onto shelves for RX order selectors. You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of accuracy and performance to meet the needs of store orders while utilizing safe work practices. You may work in other areas or functions of the warehouse, as needed. Responsibilities: - Read merchandise orders from a RF unit which will include: item locations, descriptions, and quantity needed. - Select and prepare (cut box tops and/or plastic from inner packaging) needed cases of product and place in a designated location. - Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and climbing stairs. - Move boxes of merchandise (up to 30-50 pounds regularly) utilizing safe lifting techniques. - Maintain a high level of accuracy for merchandise stocked. - Work efficiently and effectively on lines with 5 or more other employees. - Maintain 100% or greater to performance standards. - Maintain cleanliness of work zones at the end of each shift. - Maintain regular and reliable attendance. - Cross train in other warehouse duties, as necessary. - Comply with all policies and procedures of the CVS Health warehouse and DEA regulations.- Must be at least 18 years of age - Ability to read, write, and count accurately - Good written and verbal communication skills - Ability to
