After fully trained 100% onsite (6 months) at our facility in Collierville, TN, you will participate in 1 week onsite, 1 week work from home rotation (subject to change if business needs change). Position Summary CVS Specialty Pharmacy is hiring Pharmacists for our mail service pharmacy in Bartlett, Tennessee. This hybrid position offers a combination of onsite and work-from-home responsibilities. As a pharmacist, you will have the ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals and provide leadership and guidance to supporting staff. This position is responsible for interacting with the health care professionals in the provision and coordination of customer care. Additionally, you will direct supportive personnel, such as PSR’s and Pharmacy Technicians, in the daily activities they perform as it pertains to clinical and distributive activities. Ensure activities are performed to CVS Health standards and in accordance with written SOP’s and regulatory constraints. The Pharmacist has primary responsibility related to distributive services to ensure the correct medication and related items are appropriately picked, packed, and distributed to patients. The pharmacy intern works closely with the pharmacist and technician staff at the CVS Specialty Pharmacy in Fairfield, NJ. In this position, you will gain experience and knowledge on your journey to become a pharmacist. Job functions will include filling prescription orders for dispensing, review and entry of prescriptions, obtaining verbal prescriptions or clarifications from doctor's offices, transferring prescriptions from other pharmacies, counseling patients, and assisting with various clinical projects as needed. As the Pharmacist Supervisor you will supervise staff in our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy, and to provide direction to other professional and non-professional staff within Pharmacy operations to ensure that patient requests are met and prescription orders are processed in an accurate and efficient manner to achieve exceptional customer service and to exceed company and customer expectations. As the Pharmacist Supervisor you will be responsible for directing daily workflow, interviewing/hiring, evaluating & reviewing performance, coaching & counseling, disciplinary action and daily supervision of the staff to ensure that all department and company policies and procedures are followed.
