Position Summary The Pharmacy Technician will perform functions of filling, shipping and/or packing of prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures. May work in any of the assigned functions Cold packing, Single bagging, Control room and Bulk packing. Performs duties related to the process of all receiving and replenishment of product through the facility to include direct and wholesaler products as well as supplies of inventory. Performs functions related to the receipt of material including the loading and unloading of trucks, matching the manifest to received material. Utilizes RF devices as well as operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to receive material. Works with Inventory Coordinator on receiving variances (shortages & overages) and exceptions (damages & expirations). Processes incoming transfers and works with Inventory Coordinator on vendor returns. Ensures the warehouse area is clean and well organized. Work Shift : Monday/Tuesday, 7:00am to 5:30pm CT Required Qualifications Licensed pharmacy technician in the state of Texas Shipping/Packing experience, or similar work experience, in an environment which features objectives for both quantity (production) and quality. Position Summary As a pharmacy technician, you will be responsible for many aspects of the mail order prescription process. You may be assigned to work in all areas of the dispensing pharmacy including product selection, packing and shipping. Tech L1, Dispensing team members are expected to perform any of the following functions: manual filling and packing, fill medications for automated machines, Quality Sampling of medications from automated machine, packing orders using automated packing machinery. As a Tech L1 you may be asked to support the shipping handler functions such as manually metering packages and placement of packages to be sorted for shipment. As a Pharmacy Technician, you must possess basic computer proficiency and be able to lift up to 40 pounds. This position requires standing throughout the entire shift. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction across all levels of staff. Success in this role also depends on demonstrating a high degree of reliability, professionalism, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset. We're looking for applicants to be available for the shift listed below: Monday and Tuesday 6:15am-2:45pm and Saturday 7:30am-4pm Required Qualification Obtain an Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
