ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process Return Authorizations (RA) using SAP and supporting systems.
• Receive returned product into appropriate warehouse inventory locations.
• Research returns received without return authorization numbers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through proper SAP transactions.
• Process scrap transactions for damaged or non-conforming product.
• Process customer reship requests for clubs returned to the facility when the consumer requests the original
equipment to be returned.
• Consistently receive and process 26 pieces per hour.
• Locate and retrieve clubs designated for consumer reship.
• Verify club identity, specifications, and condition prior to shipment.
• Package and prepare clubs for shipment according to company shipping standards.
• Ensure accurate shipping documentation and tracking information is recorded.
• Coordinate with Customer Service and Returns Coordinators when clarification is required.
• Inspect returned golf clubs including face, crown, sole, ferrule, shaft, grip, and overall club condition.
• Assign grading classifications in accordance with CGPO grading standards.
• Identify defects including dents, shaft burns, counterfeit components, and non-factory reshafts.
• Determine appropriate disposition including resale inventory, refurbishment, exchange, scrap, or customer
reship.
• Clean returned golf clubs by removing dirt, residue, stickers, and other materials to prepare equipment for
inspection and resale.
• Ensure clubs meet presentation and cleanliness standards prior to being placed into inventory.
• Identify clubs requiring refurbishment or additional processing.
• Maintain knowledge of approved cleaning supplies and processes.
• Receive inbound returned packages and verify quantities and product condition.
• Record tracking numbers for packages processed.
• Identify and separate inbound packages including trades, direct purchases, overstock, and call tags.
• Split and create iron sets by identifying correct set composition and identifying missing pieces.
• Properly sticker and stage product for inventory placement.
• Perform putaway of clubs and equipment into assigned warehouse storage locations.
• Ensure inventory is accurately located and available for downstream operations.
• Document non-conforming material and recommend disposition.
• Participate in operational problem-solving and process improvement initiatives.
• Support investigations into inventory discrepancies when required.
• Assist with validation of grading accuracy and product condition.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards associated with operational processing rates.
• Identify golf clubs manufactured by Callaway Golf and competitor brands.
• Understand differences between drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, wedges, iron singles, iron sets, and putters.
• Understand set composition and identify incomplete sets.
• Identify counterfeit equipment or altered clubs.
