You'll architect, deploy, and operate AI-powered systems in live environments, tackling challenges in reliability, scalability, and performance as we grow our AI footprint across GoDaddy.</p> <p><strong>What you'll get to do...</strong></p> <div> <div> <ul> <li>Design, build, and deploy production-ready AI agents using Node.js, integrating LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) into scalable backend services, and delivering AI-powered experiences through full-stack applications with React frontends.</li> <li>Architect and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure to support AI workloads for thousands of users, including database design and end-to-end system ownership.</li> <li>Develop and optimize APIs that orchestrate AI agents, handle asynchronous processing, and manage complex workflows with a focus on performance, reliability, and observability in production environments.</li> <li>Work across the full stack and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scalable, available, and maintainable technical solutions while reducing technical debt and strengthening engineering foundations.</li> <li>Mentor junior engineers on full-stack and AI best practices, and actively participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-mortems to ensure high operational standards.</li> </ul> </div> </div> <p><strong>Your experience should include...</strong></p> <div> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience building and scaling full-stack applications, with a strong focus on backend development and infrastructure, including end-to-end delivery of production systems.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms, deploying and operating services at scale with the ability to support thousands of concurrent users.</li> <li>Expertise in distributed systems and micro-services architectures, including strong knowledge of API design, asynchronous processing, and event-driven systems.</li> <li>Proficiency in modern backend languages (Node.js, Python, Go, or similar), along with experience in SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.</li> <li>Strong foundation in observability (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.</li> </ul> </div> <p><strong>You might also have...</strong></p> <div> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience building applications with LLMs and AI frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, or similar), including deploying and monitoring ML/AI models in production environments.</li> <li>Familiarity with agentic AI patterns such as tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt orchestration, and structured output validation.</li> <li>Experience working with vector databases and semantic search technologies (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Elasticsearch).</li> <li>Experience building modern single-page applications using React, Vue, or similar frontend frameworks, along with a background in developing developer tools, APIs, or platform services.</li> <li>Experience with creating tests early in the development process and implementing automated testing strategies to ensure code quality and reliability.</li> </ul> </div> <p><em>We encourage you to apply even if your experience or skills don’t align perfectly with every requirement.
