Position Summary As a Shipping Handler, you will be responsible for the supply replenishment, metering, and sorting of prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures and work instructions. You will be regular packing, bulk packing, and cold packing. You will be cross trained on other shipping functions as assigned within the facility. This role will also ensure accuracy and quality standards are met when performing all shipping functions and metering prior to automated packing, and sack changing process in the eurosort. Acts as a liaison across multiple business units for shipping best practices and problem solving. To be successful in this role you must be able to stand for the duration of your shift, reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk and lift up to 40 lbs. During your time at CVS as a Shipping Handler you may be required to work multiple job functions in a day. This will give you the chance to apply for future promotional opportunities and advance in your career. Position Summary
CVS Health is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Mail Order Pharmacy team as Shipping Handlers. As a Shipping Handler, you will play a vital role in the packing and shipping of prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures. You will be cross-trained in multiple functions, including:
- Cold/Regular/ Single vial /Bulk packing / DOT packing
- Eurosort handling/ Groomer/Sack metering/ Gaylord/ box maker operator
- Cold pack metering /Regular pack metering / DASS metering
- Cold pack supplies / Cold stocking
Your contributions will directly support the timely delivery of critical specialty medications to thousands of patients.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM,
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to reach, twist, turn, bend, stoop, walk and lift up to 40 pounds
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime/extended work week when necessary
- Minimal travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience working in a Mail Order Pharmacy or healthcare distribution setting

The typical pay range for this role is:
$16.00 - $28.84This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
