You will shape the shared capabilities that allow AI systems to operate safely, reliably, and at scale across Tide. That includes context, orchestration, tool execution, trust controls, observability, and evaluation. You will participate in key build versus buy decisions, integrate external components where they accelerate us, and ensure we own the parts that matter most for Tide’s trust, data advantage, and long-term platform leverage. This group comprises Core Architecture, Engineering Productivity, and Quality Engineering . Your mission is to ensure our frontend ecosystem is a competitive advantage, providing the standards and tools that allow our product teams to build with confidence and speed. You will lead a team of Engineering Managers and partner with a tenured community of Staff Engineers to solve our most complex technical challenges. ABOUT THE ROLE As Director of Engineering, you own the technical direction and standards for Tide’s frontend. We are looking for a leader who is deeply engaged in the arc
