About the Team Our team brings OpenAI’s most capable technology to the world through our developer platform: the OpenAI API. As the leading AI development platform, our API is used by millions of developers and the majority of enterprises around the world, and powers the majority of AI applications that you may use on a daily basis. The platform supports everything from simple model calls to stateful, multimodal, tool-using applications through the Responses API, Agents SDK, Realtime API, and more. Our SDKs turn that fast-moving platform into reliable, idiomatic developer experiences across languages. About the Role We are looking for a software engineer to help build the official SDKs that power the OpenAI API. Currently offered in Python, Node.js, Golang, Java, and Ruby – our SDKs are some of the most popular in the world. You will help shape the developer experience for all new API features, as well as all future versions of our APIs. We’re looking for engineers who are deeply immersed in AI-native development: people who actively build with Codex and other coding agents, have developed agentic applications or developer tools, and bring strong, experience-backed opinions about OpenAI’s APIs. You’ll pair that firsthand product intuition with meticulous SDK design to improve how developers build with our platform. Prior experience building SDKs is lovely, but not absolutely necessary. In this role, you will: Define and implement the SDK experience for all new API features, as well as all future versions of our API. Build and experiment with agentic applications, developer tools, and coding-agent workflows using Codex and OpenAI’s APIs, translating firsthand experience into better SDK abstractions, API ergonomics, and developer experiences. Build and maintain our systems to make SDK maintenance and generation streamlined and automated. Contribute to our SDK strategy and roadmap, including which languages to support and what features to support. Collaborate closely w

Plaid powers the tools millions of people rely on to live a healthier financial life. We work with thousands of companies like Venmo, SoFi, several of the Fortune 500, and many of the largest banks to make it easy for people to connect their financial accounts to the apps and services they want to use. Plaid’s network covers 12,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK and Europe. Founded in 2013, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in New York, Seattle, Washington D.C., Raleigh, London, and Amsterdam. The Platform Security team (PlatSec) defends Plaid against attackers. We own laptop security, cloud security, AI security, detection and response, and red teaming. Right now we're in growth mode. AI has expanded Plaid's attack surface faster than most security teams can adapt, and we're building the guardrails, identity controls, and detection systems to keep pace without slowing the business down. If you like solving problems nobody's solved yet, this is that team. About the role You'll be Plaid's first line of defense on AI security. You'll review new AI technologies to find security risks before they ship, then design and implement the controls that close them. You'll build the guardrails, identity management, and detection systems that let Plaid use AI aggressively without getting burned. Responsibilities Review AI systems and integrations for security risk before and after deployment. Design and deploy guardrails, sandboxes, and other controls that contain what AI agents can do. Build or implement systems to track and manage AI identities, so we know what access every AI has been granted and can balance risk with agility. About the team The ChatGPT Library team is building the persistence layer that helps people and organizations collaborate with increasingly capable AI systems. ChatGPT Library provides users with a durable place for their files, context, and creations, forming a substrate between humans and agents—a foundation for AI that can remember, retrieve, and act on the right context over time. The team sits within the Personalization organization and partners closely with product, design, research, model, and infrastructure teams. Its work helps models become a useful second brain for individuals—for example, answering questions such as “What did I work on last week?”—and supports enterprise use cases that turn company knowledge into accessible, actionable context. About the role We are looking for a hands-on engineering manager to lead a team of approximately 9–10 engineers and own execution across the product roadmap. This is a technical leadership role for someone who can set a high product bar, build a strong team, shape architecture, and contribute directly when needed. You will form and translate an ambitious product vision into a focused roadmap and help the team ship reliable, intuitive experiences at the intersection of AI, knowledge, and collaboration. The ideal candidate leads by example. You are comfortable moving between people leadership, product decisions, technical design, and code. Founder or early-stage startup experience is especially valuable because the role requires urgency, sound judgment under ambiguity, and a willingness to operate across boundaries. In this role you will • Lead, coach, and grow a team of approximately 9–10 engineers while creating clarity, accountability, and a healthy execution rhythm. • Own the engineering roadmap for Library, working with product and design partners to prioritize the highest-impact problems. • Set a high bar for product quality, technical excellence, reliability, privacy, and user trust. • Provide hands-on techni

Synthesia
📍 SeattleFull-timeRemoteFrom $2.4K/yr
1mo ago

Synthesia is the world’s leading AI video platform for business, used by over 90% of the Fortune 100. Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in London, with offices and teams across Europe and the US. As AI continues to shape the way we live and work, Synthesia develops products to enhance visual communication and enterprise skill development, helping people work better and stay at the center of successful organizations. Following our recent Series E funding round, where we raised $200 million, our valuation stands at $4 billion. Our total funding exceeds $530 million from premier investors including Accel, NVentures (Nvidia's VC arm), Kleiner Perkins, GV, and Evantic Capital, alongside the founders and operators of Stripe, Datadog, Miro, and Webflow. About the role For years, avatars have been something you watch. You write a script, we render a video, someone presses play. That model has taken AI video a long way but it has a ceiling. A video can't answer a question. It can't read the room. It can't role-play a tough conversation and adapt when you push back. We're changing that. Interactive Avatars listen, talk, and respond in real time; inside your product, your website, or your internal tools. You bring the logic and the language model; we power the avatar layer: the speech, the expression, the listening, the sense that there's someone actually there. It's early. Interactive Avatars is in closed beta today, and the teams building on it are pushing it into places we didn't expect - AI sales reps, always-on support agents, interactive trainers, onboarding guides. We're hiring a Product Manager to own it and take it from beta to a platform that thousands of developers build on. This is a role with real scope. You'll help define what a real-time avatar API should be, the surface developers integrate against, the experience end users feel, and the commercial model that makes it a business. You'll work directly with the engineering and research teams building
