ROLE SUMMARY: The key strategic focus within the Internal Medicine Research Unit (IMRU) is identifying novel therapies to prevent or treat metabolic diseases such as obesity and cardiovascular disease. Our goal is to build a world-class research team of dedicated scientists committed to developing a deep mechanistic understanding of the metabolic pathways underlying disease pathogenesis. As a senior scientific leader and member of the obesity discovery biology team, this individual will play a significant role in shaping the scientific direction for the obesity therapeutic area and influencing broader IMRU research strategy and portfolio priorities. The individual will help create and drive discovery research strategy across multiple programs, including target ideation, validation, translational biomarker strategy, hypothesis testing, and early clinical development within the IMRU obesity portfolio. The successful candidate will lead through both direct team leadership and influence across multidisciplinary partners, helping align scientific decisions across discovery biology, translational sciences, clinical, computational, and external collaborators. The individual will identify emerging therapeutic opportunities, advance portfolio programs with scientific rigor and urgency, and represent research strategies to internal leadership and the external scientific community. Knowledge and experience in the study of metabolic pathways are essential, and familiarity with the pathophysiology of dysmetabolic states would be advantageous. Strong self-motivation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead, mentor, and build scientific capability in a highly collaborative environment are essential. Roles & Responsibilities: Build a Creator-Led Affiliate Model • Identify and shortlist regional content creators, micro-influencers, YouTubers and Instagram creators to participate in an affiliate program where we pay the creator on every new user acquisition. • Research creators through the internet, social media platforms, YouTube, Instagram and local content pages. • Build creator lists by language, city, category, audience type and performance potential. • Reach out to creators through email, WhatsApp, Instagram DM and calls. • Coordinate with creators for briefs, timelines, content posting, tracking links and performance reports. • Maintain and update creator data in Excel or Google Sheets, including status updates and campaign reports. • Track creator-wise daily performance across views, clicks, installs, payments and cost per acquired user. • Recommend creators based on business impact, not just follower count. • Share weekly updates on creator outreach, onboarding, content posted and results delivered. What We Are Looking For: • Fluency in the assigned language. • Good understanding of regional content, creators and local culture. • An existing creator network is useful, but not mandatory. • Ability to research creators independently on the internet. • Comfort with email, WhatsApp, Excel, Google Sheets and basic reporting. • Experience is not mandatory. About the Job: As the Associate Collections Specialist, you will ensure that invoices are accepted by the customers, invoice disputes are resolved in a timely manner, payments are received on time, and be responsible for cash applications and reconciliations. You will have excellent attention to detail, solve problems, and be able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks. Responsibilities: Collections Manage an assigned book of customer accounts, monitoring aging reports and proactively following up on past-due invoices via phone and email. Prioritize and manage multiple accounts and competing deadlines independently, escalating high-risk or complex accounts as needed. Build and maintain a track record of improving collections performance, including reducing days sales outstanding (DSO) and aged receivables. Negotiate payment timelines or arrangements with customers when needed, balancing timely recovery with a positive customer experience. Cash Application & Reconciliation Apply incoming customer payments (checks, ACH, wire, credit card) to the correct invoices and accounts in NetSuite. Perform regular cash and account reconciliations to ensure payments, credits, and adjustments are accurately reflected. Research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, and payment discrepancies in a timely manner. Customer Issue Resolution Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers on billing and payment questions, working to resolve disputes and discrepancies efficiently. Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Billing teams to investigate and resolve issues affecting timely payment. Work with AWS Support to resolve AWS Billing issues Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date records of collection activity, customer communications, and account status.
