Building Engineer – JLL What this job involves: As a Building Engineer at JLL, you will help ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of critical building systems across the facility. This role is responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire life safety equipment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in at least one core trade area while demonstrating the flexibility to support multiple building systems. You will play an important role in delivering exceptional client service, maintaining compliance with safety standards, supporting energy-efficient operations, and contributing to an overall positive occupant experience. What your day-to-day will look like: Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire life safety equipment. Complete preventive maintenance tasks and respond to service requests in a professional and timely manner with minimal disruption to building occupants. Monitor building systems performance, record operational readings, and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal equipment efficiency.
