We work closely with various departments to provide tax insights and strategies that support the company's growth and financial objectives. About the Role We're hiring a Senior Manager, International Indirect Tax Compliance to own and continuously improve our end-to-end international indirect tax compliance process. This role will be responsible for driving timely, accurate compliance; maintaining audit readiness; and building scalable processes that improve visibility, control, and efficiency across the Tax function. You will oversee obligations across VAT, GST, DST, and other indirect tax regimes as OpenAI continues to expand globally. You will partner closely with colleagues across Finance and external service providers to ensure that tax compliance is well-controlled, well-documented, and supported by reliable data and processes. The ideal candidate brings deep international indirect tax compliance experience, strong judgment, and a genuine passion for leveraging technology to streamline and improve compliance operations.
