Medical Editor Position Overview The Medical Editor is responsible for the editorial integrity and factual accuracy of all marketing materials we develop and produce. This position ensures all pieces are grammatically and factually flawless and comply with American Medical Association (AMA) style, client style, and US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) rules and regulations. The Medical Editor contributes the fullest extent of their knowledge and understanding toward maintaining the highest levels of quality control. This position reports to the Associate Editorial Supervisor or Editorial Supervisor. This role supports after-hours business needs and requires availability to work Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM ET. Responsibilities Edits initial round of jobs for all assigned accounts for content as well as for AMA style, client style, FDA rules and regulations, grammar, spelling, and consistency within the piece and among related pieces within a campaign Fact-checks initial round of jobs and subsequent rounds as n

Senior Medical Editor Position Overview The Senior Medical Editor ensures the quality, accuracy, and compliance of medical content across various promotional and educational materials. This role involves reviewing materials for scientific accuracy, adherence to style guides, and consistency while mentoring junior editors. Responsibilities: Edit and proofread scientific and promotional content for grammar, consistency, and accuracy Ensure adherence to AMA style, brand guidelines, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with medical, creative, and account teams to refine content Verify references and citations for scientific accuracy and compliance Provide final proofreading and quality control of client deliverables Support the development and implementation of editorial processes and best practices Mentor junior editors and provide training on industry and editorial standards Qualifications Bachelor’s or advanced degree in English, Journalism, Life Sciences, or a related field
