Requisition Job Description As an Rx Automation Mechanic, you will be responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, change control, testing, and process improvement of automated prescription dispensing and fulfillment systems. Additionally, you will assist in the support and training of pharmacy staff and operators to meet production goals as well as quality expectations. Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned automated pharmacy dispensing equipment which include electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, control (PLC), robotic, barcode, label printing, computer, networking, and conveyor systems. Timely completion and work order documentation of all corrective and preventative maintenance tasks and materials using CMMS software. Maintain parts inventories and correspond with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of necessary components. Oversee vendor support of facility air compressors and generators. Repair/refurbish heat presses and equipment within a respective service area. Support pharmacy automation remotely through a rotating on-call schedule. Notify the Manager of any concerns regarding major repairs needed or any additional equipment needed to support the pharmacy automation equipment, or to maintain a clean and safe work area for all employees. Position Summary $19.00 / hour 1st shift only: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3PM As an RX stocker, you will stock cases of pharmacy merchandise onto shelves for RX order selectors. You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of accuracy and performance to meet the needs of store orders while utilizing safe work practices. You may work in other areas or functions of the warehouse, as needed. Responsibilities: - Read merchandise orders from a RF unit which will include: item locations, descriptions, and quantity needed. - Select and prepare (cut box tops and/or plastic from inner packaging) needed cases of product and place in a designated location. - Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and climbing stairs. - Move boxes of merchandise (up to 30-50 pounds regularly) utilizing safe lifting techniques. - Maintain a high level of accuracy for merchandise stocked. - Work efficiently and effectively on lines with 5 or more other employees. - Maintain 100% or greater to performance standards. - Maintain cleanliness of work zones at the end of each shift. - Maintain regular and reliable attendance. - Cross train in other warehouse duties, as necessary. - Comply with all policies and procedures of the CVS Health warehouse and DEA regulations.- Must be at least 18 years of age - Ability to read, write, and count accurately - Good written and verbal communication skills - Ability to

The Tech I will make the determination if a complex request should be transferred to a pharmacist for assistance. Additionally, the Tech I is responsible for maintaining complete, timely, and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials. In order to be successful in this role you will need proficiency pronouncing drug names and diagnosis and recognizing medical terminology. As well as navigating multiple software systems to document conversations and outcomes, which require keyboarding skills. This position requires schedule flexibility including rotations through nights, weekend and holiday coverage.
