AML Compliance Investigations Team Lead A key part of building our business is ensuring we do it with sustainable outcomes, compliant with regulations. To achieve this, Adyen has organized a mature Second Line function that partners with the business to cut through financial crime risk complexities and power sustainable growth. Our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance team and framework are at the core of this. Within the global AML Compliance team, we are looking for an experienced professional located in Amsterdam and with a proven track record in AML Compliance. They will be leading the AML Compliance Investigations team, which is conducting Second Line AML Investigations and is responsible for the submission of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to multiple local Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs). The mandate is to further grow this team of talented investigators, and develop beyond investigations into the proactive maintenance of SAR program oversight, managing local nuances, FIU contacts, and providing the rest of the Adyen organization insights into SAR trends and management reporting. Positions, PnL, and hedging all run through our Mid-Office team. When the numbers our traders and risk team rely on are wrong, this is where it gets found and fixed. The role We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Mid-Office team in this role, you'll own the systems that keep positions, PnL, and hedging correct across every venue we trade. You build and run the platform, and you're the one who notices when a number looks wrong and follows it until you know why. You will: Own the books. Maintain and evolve our position, trade, and PnL systems so they stay accurate across every venue. Do the quant work. Build and refine our hedging, Greeks, margin models, and early exercise premium calculations. Surface the risk. Build the risk views and calculations that show traders and the risk team what exposure we're carrying. Support the desk. Work side by side with traders and researchers, making sure the data they rely on is correct and available. Deliver reporting.
