At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it. Vanta's Corporate Engineering team is the infrastructure layer that keeps 1,500+ people connected, secure, and moving fast. AI is now central to how that happens, and this role leads the team that owns the backbone underneath it. Corporate Engineering owns the shared AI platform for Vanta's internal systems: identity and access for AI tools, cost visibility and controls, sanctioned tooling and guardrails, and the enablement that helps people use those tools well. We do not own product AI, which stays with Engineering, and we do not replace the AI work happening inside individual departments. We build the engineering layer that makes all of it safer, cheaper, and better supported. The company has moved fast. AI assistant use is widespread across every function, MCP infrastructure is live and self-serve company-wide, internal apps ship on a hosted platform, and AI spend has grown to the point where attribution and guardrails genuinely matter. What does not exist yet is a single owner for that platform layer. That is this role. As Sr. Manager, AI Engineering, you will lead a small, senior team, write the charter for what Corporate Engineering owns versus enables, and build the platform that lets the rest of Vanta adopt AI quickly without accumulating cost, risk, or duplication. What you’ll do as a Senior Manager, AI Corporate Engineering at Vanta: Lead, coach, and grow a senior team spanning platform engineering and technical program management. Set clear direction, hold a high bar, and give the team explicit permission to push back with data. Own the AI access layer end to end: identity and authentication for AI tools, connector

About the Team OpenAI's data and storage infrastructure spans data platforms, online databases, and file/object storage. These systems underpin data ingestion and processing, durable persistence, indexing and retrieval, and product file experiences. As frontier models and agents evolve how they use memory, history and snapshots, the underlying architecture increasingly shapes the capabilities products can deliver—and their latency, reliability, cost and efficiency. About the Role We are looking for a technically deep TPM to independently define and lead multiple programs across data platforms, online databases and storage infrastructure. You will connect model, product and data-consumer requirements to architecture, and work with the relevant engineering teams to take new capabilities through production adoption and repeatable expansion. The design scope is exabyte-scale storage and infrastructure spanning multiple millions of CPU cores. The challenge is not simply forecasting more resources: it is making complete, workload-ready capacity repeatable, with a clear path from product requirements through architecture, deployment and validation. A data pipeline, database query, file operation or execution snapshot can affect whether a product or agent succeeds; you will connect those outcomes to the systems underneath. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Translate model, product and data-platform needs into precise access patterns, consistency, durability, freshness, availability and scalability requirements. Connect memory, history, retrieval and resumable work to capability and end-to-end latency. Partner with engineering to transform data and storage architecture into repeatable scale units: standardized provisioning, placement, routing, data movement and readiness checks that bring storage, compute and networking online together.

About the Team OpenAI’s Cyber team works to make frontier AI a decisive advantage for defenders. The Cyber Blue Team is an operator-led group focused on turning real defensive problems into better models, useful products, safe Codex workflows, and integrations with the security tools defenders already use. Our ambition is simple: Raise attacker cost. Lower defender toil. Prove it by defending OpenAI; scale it through the ecosystem. We are not setting out to build another SIEM or autonomous SOC. We want to build the AI reasoning and workflow layer that helps security teams investigate threats, create and validate detections, improve their controls, and respond with greater speed and confidence. About the Role We are looking for a Product Manager to help build a new generation of AI-powered cyber defense products. You will work closely with security practitioners, researchers, engineers, designers, internal security teams, customers, and technology partners to turn emerging model capabilities into products that solve meaningful defensive problems. This is an early-stage product role. The work will span product discovery, prototyping, evaluation, development, launch, and iteration. You will help the team identify where AI can create the most value for defenders and translate those opportunities into clear, usable, and trustworthy product experiences. Initial areas of focus may include: Detection engineering and detection-content development Threat hunting and investigation Security validation and control testing AI-agent and MCP runtime defense Integrations with security platforms and enterprise workflows Safe, governed assistance for incident response The specific roadmap will continue to evolve based on model progress, practitioner needs, internal learnings, and customer feedback. About Ema Ema is building the world’s leading Agentic AI platform to transform enterprise productivity. We enable organizations to delegate repetitive tasks to Ema, the Universal AI Employee, delivering 10x gains in workforce efficiency, across functions. Founded by former executives from Google, Coinbase, Flipkart, and Okta, our team includes engineers from premier tech companies and graduates of Stanford, MIT, UC Berkeley, CMU, and IITs. We are backed by industry leading investors including Accel, Naspers/Prosus, Section32, and angels like Sheryl Sandberg and Dustin Moskovitz. Headquartered in Silicon Valley and with offices in London, Bangalore and Vancouver, Ema is at the frontier of what Agentic AI can do in production — we ship real systems that run real business processes at scale. The residency You own one hard problem end to end. You write the proposal, build the system, design the evaluation, ship behind a gate, and finish with a write-up of what turned out to be true, including the parts that didn't work. You'll sit in the production codebase with a senior mentor and real production data. Recent residents have shipped self-improving harnesses, inference-cost work, agent memory, and eval infrastructure. Your project gets scoped with you, not handed to you. The problem space The loop we care about: production traces become data, data becomes training and evaluation, and better agents produce better traces. Projects live somewhere on that loop. Harness and inference-time work. Context engineering, tool and skill design, orchestration, and deciding where extra inference compute actually pays. Self-improvement loops run behind hard fences. Team description At Datadog, AI agents are becoming first-class consumers of observability, security, and software delivery data — from third-party coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot, to our own Bits SRE, Bits Assistant, and Bits Dev Agent. The Agentic Interfaces team owns the platform that connects these agents to Datadog: the MCP Server, the tools and retrieval surfaces agents call into, and — critically — the evaluation systems that tell us whether an agent's experience on Datadog data is actually getting better over time. This role is about that last piece. We're hiring a Staff Applied Scientist to define what "good" means for an Agentic interface at Datadog and to build the measurement systems that make it true. "Good" isn't one number — it spans answer quality, tool-selection accuracy, retrieval relevance, latency, token cost, and end-to-end agent success on real customer workflows. You'll design the evals, build the datasets, define the metrics, and partner with the AI engineers on the team to land the platform that lets every product group at Datadog ship integrations that are demonstrably better release over release. The space is full of open research questions. How do you evaluate an agent end-to-end when the trajectory is non-deterministic? How do you score tool selection when the tool catalog has hundreds of entries and grows weekly? How do you build a measurement system that catches regressions across first-party and third-party agents at once, without each team writing their own harness? If those are the problems you want to spend your time on, come build this with us. Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply. What You’ll Do: Own the evaluation strategy for Datadog's AI agent integrations. Define the metrics — offline and online, quali
