About the Team The Coding team is reimagining how software is built in the AI era. We build tools and workflows that help software engineers work faster, tackle more ambitious projects, and spend less time on repetitive tasks. AI has already transformed how code is written, but software engineering extends far beyond coding. Our mission is to apply AI across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) — from design and implementation to code review, testing, debugging, issue remediation, maintenance, documentation, and user support. The team is also responsible for developer-facing Codex experiences including the Codex IDE Extension and the terminal interface, which are used daily by developers ranging from individual open-source contributors to some of the world’s largest engineering organizations. The team also works closely with the open-source software community, building tools that help maintainers and contributors manage increasingly complex projects. We believe AI can make open-source development more sustainable by reducing the operational burden of reviewing contributions, triaging issues, maintaining quality, and supporting growing communities. By building the future of software development, we're helping advance OpenAI's mission of ensuring that the benefits of AI reach people around the world. About the Role We’re hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to help invent the next generation of AI-powered software development workflows. “Full stack” in this role means much more than traditional frontend and backend development. You'll own complete product experiences, spanning user interfaces, workflow orchestration, agent and prompt design, backend systems, and cloud infrastructure. This is a highly product-oriented role. You'll work directly on the workflows developers use every day, identifying bottlenecks and rethinking how software gets built in a world where AI agents are active participants in the development process. The features you ship will inf

Agent Firewall wraps those agents with default-deny network policies, controlling which domains and methods they can reach inside workspaces. This team works across the full stack - from Go backend and React frontend to integrating with LLM provider APIs. Day to day, you'll be shipping features, hardening security boundaries, collaborating with enterprise customers on real-world policy needs, and contributing to Coder's open-source ecosystem. What you'll do here Design and build product features that push the standard for remote development in self-hosted environments Create and improve upon popular open source projects that integrate with VS Code, JetBrains, and other developer tools Champion best practices to both internal team members and external contributors Collaborate with Product and Design teams at Coder, as well as with partners like JetBrains, to execute key product integrations Document the design, implementation, and operations of systems for knowledge sharing within the team Work alongside Customer Success teams to support Coder’s enterprise user base Work with cutting-edge AI technologies to create seamless, painless developer experiences Rapidly iterate from prototype to implementation in a highly adaptive, reactive team environment What we're looking for 8+ years of full-stack experience writing code in a professional setting, with 1+ year(s) writing Go (ideally in current or most recent position) Proficiency in building distributed systems in Go Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excep

Team description At Datadog, AI agents are becoming first-class consumers of observability, security, and software delivery data — from third-party coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot, to our own Bits SRE, Bits Assistant, and Bits Dev Agent. The Agentic Interfaces team owns the platform that connects these agents to Datadog: the MCP Server, the tools and retrieval surfaces agents call into, and — critically — the evaluation systems that tell us whether an agent's experience on Datadog data is actually getting better over time. This role is about that last piece. We're hiring a Staff Applied Scientist to define what "good" means for an Agentic interface at Datadog and to build the measurement systems that make it true. "Good" isn't one number — it spans answer quality, tool-selection accuracy, retrieval relevance, latency, token cost, and end-to-end agent success on real customer workflows. You'll design the evals, build the datasets, define the metrics, and partner with the AI engineers on the team to land the platform that lets every product group at Datadog ship integrations that are demonstrably better release over release. The space is full of open research questions. How do you evaluate an agent end-to-end when the trajectory is non-deterministic? How do you score tool selection when the tool catalog has hundreds of entries and grows weekly? How do you build a measurement system that catches regressions across first-party and third-party agents at once, without each team writing their own harness? If those are the problems you want to spend your time on, come build this with us. Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply. What You’ll Do: Own the evaluation strategy for Datadog's AI agent integrations. Define the metrics — offline and online, quali
