We are looking for a highly organized, thoughtful, and execution-focused People Operations Manager to join our People team. This is a manager-level individual contributor role responsible for owning and continuously improving the core People operations that support our employees throughout their lifecycle. Key Responsibilities People Operations & Employee Lifecycle Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, leaves, and offboarding, ensuring a seamless and high-quality employee experience. Manage and continuously improve People Operations processes, workflows, documentation, and internal resources. Serve as a primary point of contact for employees on People-related questions, policies, benefits, leaves, and workplace resources. Partner with Finance, IT, Recruiting, Legal, and other teams to ensure People processes and employee changes are executed accurately and on time. HRIS, Data & Compliance Own the day-to-day administration and data integrity of our HRIS, including employee records, job and compensation changes, and organizational data. Conduct regular audits and maintain People reporting to ensure data is accurate, complete, and compliant and to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Support HR compliance

THE ROLE We're looking for a Finance Systems Lead to own and evolve the systems that support Baseten's finance operations, including ERP, planning tools, and the broader finance and adjacent systems stack, spanning HRIS/payroll, CPQ, and commissions, as we implement, integrate, and automate across them. As Baseten scales, so does the number of systems finance depends on and touches, from the ERP to planning to compensation and quote to cash tooling. This role exists to bring a dedicated owner to that stack, someone who can lead implementations (partnering with contractors or vendor CSMs for hands-on technical configuration where needed), keep systems integrated and clean as we grow, and find automation opportunities that save the team time. This is a highly cross-functional role. You will partner with Accounting, FP&A, People, Sales and Revenue Operations, Legal, and IT to understand how each team uses its systems, and design integrations and workflows that serve the business without creating more manual work. About the Role We're looking for a People Operations Manager who can look at a messy, ambiguous problem and turn it into a clear plan — then execute it. Day-to-day, you'll own our HR technology stack, lead process transformation across the employee lifecycle, and serve as the go-to partner for Payroll, IT, Legal, and the broader People & Talent team when something needs to be built, fixed, or rethought. THE ROLE As the Head of IT at Baseten, you will build, scale, and secure our internal technology function to support our rapid growth. Reporting to our Chief Information Security Officer, you will lead and mentor a team of 5+ IT engineers, leading the charge to transition Baseten from startup-era IT to a highly automated, enterprise-ready IT organization. You will take full ownership of corporate IT infrastructure, Helpdesk operations, corporate identity management, device lifecycles, and vendor procurement.
