Job Purpose The Director, Marketing Communications owns how Hyliion is understood by customers, investors, media, employees, and partners. This role sets the strategic direction for corporate and executive communications, public relations, brand management, and marketing communications, and is accountable for translating company strategy, technical progress, and business milestones into clear and credible narratives across all channels. The position leads and develops a team and function that scale with Hyliion’s growth, partners with the leadership team on high-stakes communications. This position operates as both a strategic owner and a hands-on contributor, flexing between communications strategy, team leadership, and direct production based on business needs. Duties and Responsibilities Communications Strategy and Brand Management Sets the vision for and lead execution of Hyliion's corporate and marketing communications strategy in alignment with commercial priorities, corporate objectives, and key milestones. Define and own the narrative for Hyliion and the KARNO technology across customers, investors, media, employees, and partners.
