This position is a key part of the legal team supporting Hasbro's patent function including patent clearance, due diligence and patent searching to support Hasbro's patent counsel. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle a broad range of matters with professionalism and discretion. Good interpersonal and organizational skills, a proactive "can do" attitude, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with sound judgment are paramount! Effective from on January 4, 2027, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday –Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro’s temporary location in Boston, MA What You'll Do: Patent Related Responsibilities Weekly updating and maintenance of Patent Counsel clearance spreadsheet to ensure timely completion of due diligence in advance of product tool start. Review of submitted Patent Clearances to assess sufficiency and seek completion when additional information is needed from the engineering department. Develop understanding of brand products to assist Patent Counsel in preliminary clearance searching across range of patent tools and databases.
