About the role Our ChatGPT Enterprise Sales team has a unique mission to help customers understand the deep impact that highly capable AI models can bring to their business and users. This role is a mixture of technical understanding, vision, partnership, and value-driven strategy. Our EDU Account Director will specialize in working with education institutions and companies as they adopt OpenAI’s products. For example, this individual will focus on helping support universities K-12 institutions as they evaluate and adopt ChatGPT Enterprise for their administrators, faculty and students. You’ll be a key driver of opportunities through the entire sales cycle, from pipeline generation to closure. You’ll represent OpenAI as a thought leader in AI, and partner with researchers, engineers, and solution strategists to help customers evolve their AI journeys. ChatGPT Enterprise (launched Aug’23) is being rapidly adopted by companies around the world, and we’re looking for tenured Account Directors to join our team and continue to bring both new customers onto the product, and expand existing ones. About The Role You’ll own APAC campaigns and content strategy and execution to drive awareness, engagement, and qualified pipeline. You will bring global campaigns and product launches into APAC by working with the local APAC marketing team to bring these campaigns to life. As well as bringing global campaigns to APAC, you will also create new campaigns from scratch and help to scale these out globally if successful in APAC. These are full integrated campaigns where you own everything from strategy, channel mix, content, messaging and execution (in-partnership with the local APAC marketing team). About the Role As a Security Engineer on Detection & Response, you’ll help protect OpenAI’s most sensitive assets– including our intellectual property, customer data, and the infrastructure that supports them– by building and operating the systems we use to detect suspicious activity and respond effectively when it matters. You’ll work across endpoints, identity, cloud, hyperscale compute infrastructure, and datacenter-adjacent layers, partnering closely with security teams and infrastructure owners to define the telemetry and response requirements we need and building tooling and automation where it delivers the most leverage. In this role, you will: Build and evolve Detection & Response capabilities across OpenAI’s infrastructure, products, and research environments, with an emphasis on high-signal detection and reliable operational response. Engineer detection pipelines and tooling: develop rule lifecycle management, measurement/quality loops (coverage, precision, latency), tuning processes, and safe rollout patterns. Automate response and investigations by building workflows that reduce toil (triage, enrichment, containment, evidence capture) and improve time-to-understand/time-to-contain.
