By building world-class components, accessible frameworks, and developer-friendly tools, your work will directly impact millions of administrative and end-user interactions every day. The role The Principal Product Designer – UI Platform is a high-impact individual contributor role, serving as a foundational design lead for Okta's global user experience infrastructure. Joining the Product Platform group, you will act as a resident expert and strategic thought partner, shaping the horizontal design patterns, design architecture, localization/globalization frameworks, and accessibility standards (WCAG) that power every Okta Workforce Identity product. You will partner directly with cross functional UI Platform leads to drive platform-level initiatives, harmonizing user experience (UX) and developer experience (DevEx) across our engineering and product organizations. You will also collaborate closely with the Design Systems team, acting as a bridge between the system and feature teams applying it to our product.
