You’ve built and maintained CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and automation that makes engineering teams faster. You understand that the best developer tools disappear into the background - they just work. You’re equally comfortable debugging a flaky GitHub Actions workflow and designing a new internal CLI. You care deeply about reducing friction and cognitive load for your fellow engineers. This is a foundational role. You’ll be one of the first dedicated engineers on a platform organization supporting 300+ engineers. You’ll shape not just the technical foundations but the culture and practices of the team. Your Success Profile What You Will Work On Own and evolve CI/CD infrastructure (GitHub Actions, deployment pipelines) to improve build times and deployment frequency Build and maintain our developer portal (Backstage) - service catalog, golden path templates, and TechDocs integration Create golden path templates for Go, Rails, and Vue.js services that bake in best practices automatically Build and maintain internal

The Opportunity Join Enigma's Growth & KYB Team at a pivotal moment as we continue to create sales and marketing solutions for small businesses. We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to develop and build innovative data products and systems that directly impact our customers and accelerate our growth. Your work will influence decisions for companies that employ half the U.S. workforce, creating tremendous value for our clients. The Role As a member of the Growth & KYB Team, you will: Design, develop and deliver data products that solve critical customer pain points and build scalable, high-quality systems that deliver rich interactions with our data. Engage with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to create experiences that move a customer from discovery to evaluation to purchase. Analyze and extract value from data at scale, building efficient, maintainable production-grade data solutions. Create scalable and highly maintainable systems deployed in cloud environments. Own architecture and design decisions as well as hands-on implementation, ensuring that customer experiences are compelling and have low costs of ownership. What You’ll Do Operates with a bias for action and knows how to deliver value in the short, medium, and long term. Loves interacting with product teams and works hard to solve customer problems in a repeatable way. Adopts a principled, metrics-driven approach to difficult data problems and demonstrates excellence in their analytics and engineering craft. Operates transparently, collaboratively, and with low ego—loves learning from others and having their ideas questioned and challenged. Has a “can-do” attitude and thrives on a highly collaborative, cross-functional team that plays a critical role in the company’s success. Is eager to own architecture and design decisions as well as hands-on implementation. What Makes This Role Exciting? Impact : Develop products that take an innovative data-first appro

The Opportunity This is an exciting time at Enigma. We’re on the cusp of releasing our next generation of small business intelligence products built on years of learnings in the space. We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our Entity Resolution team and help shape the trajectory of these products. Your work will directly impact the accuracy, scalability, and predictive capabilities of our data platform, influencing key business decisions for our customers. The Role Data is at the core of Enigma’s product, which makes data science the beating heart of what we ship. As a Data Scientist on the Entity Resolution Team, you will work in a cross-functional team alongside other data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders. You will own problems end to end–from raw source data, through models and scalable pipelines, to the customer interface. Your impact will be measured by the contributions you make with your team to improve the accuracy of our data and the value of our product to our customers. What You’ll Do Translate customer goals into working solutions, using large-scale data transformation, sound statistics, and high-quality code. Most of our work is in Databricks (both Spark SQL + PySpark), supported by statistical tooling, and by ML/AI where the problem calls for it. Set a high standard for rigorous analysis and model development, grounded in sound statistical practice, so that results are high-quality and reproducible. Treat data as a reflection of the real world, and develop repeatable strategies for validating results against ground truth. Develop techniques to detect gaps in our data, find the source, and close them in a way that improves the product. Apply a data-focused, first-principles approach to problem solving. We value people who bias toward simple and elegant solutions, but who can implement state-of-the-art models and techniques when the problem requires it What Makes This Role Exciting? The Opportunity This is a critical and exciting time at Enigma. Our customers consistently tell us that our data products create tremendous value and are deeply aligned with their most important workflows. As demand grows, we have an urgent opportunity to improve both the intelligence of our data and the systems through which customers access it. We are looking for an experienced Senior/Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join our Match Team and help shape the next generation of Enigma’s customer-facing data products. In this role, you will combine advanced statistical and machine learning research with the engineering systems required to power fast, relevant, and reliable search experiences at scale. This is a uniquely high-impact role sitting at the intersection of information retrieval, ranking systems, semantic search, distributed systems, and customer data delivery. The Role At the core of Enigma’s product is our data, which makes both data science and delivery systems central to what we build. As a Senior/Staff ML Engineer on the Match Team, you will lead efforts that improve the relevance, latency, and scalability of our customer-facing data products. You’ll work across the full lifecycle: framing retrieval and ranking problems, developing models and experimentation strategies, evaluating results using real-world signals, and implementing high-throughput search and retrieval systems. This role is ideal for someone who is excited by both hard ranking/search problems and the systems challenges of turning those solutions into low-latency, production-grade retrieval systems. What You'll Do Develop innovative solutions to complex problems in information retrieval, ranking, semantic search, query understanding, and recommendation systems Build and optimize low-latency, high-throughput search APIs, indexing pipelines, and retrieval systems using Python, Typesense, and AWS Evaluate and evolve our search technology stack, driving technical design decisions across index
