About Scale AI Scale AI is the data foundation for AI, helping organizations build and deploy reliable production AI applications. We partner with the world's leading enterprises and government organizations to accelerate their AI transformation through frontier AI systems that solve real business problems. Every day, we work with organizations across finance, healthcare, manufacturing, media and telecommunications to build production AI agents that automate complex workflows, help humans, reason over enterprise knowledge, and operate safely at scale. The Opportunity Applied AI is moving faster than ever. New foundation models, reasoning techniques, agent architectures, and research papers emerge every week. Yet building AI systems that reliably solve real-world problems remains one of the hardest engineering challenges. As a Frontier Agent Engineer (Applied AI) , you'll bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and production deployment. You'll work directly with enterprise customers to design, evaluate, and deploy intelligent systems that combine frontier models with structured knowledge, retrieval, traditional machine learning, and enterprise software. Unlike traditional ML roles that focus on a single model or product, you'll work across a diverse portfolio of AI challenges spanning multiple industries and use cases. You may build a multi-agent research system and then participate in designing a customer intelligence platform, a healthcare copilot, or an autonomous workflow for a Fortune 100 company. If you enjoy reading new AI papers, experimenting with the latest models, and shipping production systems that create measurable business impact, you'll fit right in. About the Role We are a small team of AI builders in Paytm Labs. As a Staff AI Platform Engineer, you will work across inference and agentic systems. You will contribute to Paytm's AI inference platform (Pi), serving internal teams and enterprise customers - running our own coding and domain-specific models (voice, vision, risk, fintech workflows) as well as third-party models. You will also architect and build the platform that enables autonomous AI agents to operate safely and reliably in production - the runtime, orchestration, and developer tooling for agents to reason, plan, use tools, and execute complex multi-step workflows, automating both software development and business processes. You will work at the intersection of LLMs, distributed systems, and production fintech infrastructure, helping define how inference and agentic AI are built and deployed across payments, risk, fraud, collections, support, and developer experience.

A World-Changing Company Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more. What We're About At its core, this role is about uncovering dots and — without knowing the shape they form — figuring out how to connect them. Our customers come to us with a hunch that the only way to protect their troops, manufacture high-quality products, structure effective healthcare policies, or deliver aid to refugees safely is to make better use of their data. Deployment Strategists are responsible for turning that hunch into reality. If you believe in the transformational power of data and technology and in your own ability to bring that power to bear against complex problems, we want to meet you. What We Do As a Deployment Strategist, you'll work as part of a driven and creative team of Engineers, Product Designers, and other Deployment Strategists to deploy software against the most challenging problems our world faces. Your mission is to synthesize disconnected streams of thought into a cohesive understanding of what the most important problem is, what the data means, what the product needs, what users are motivated by, and where the impact could be. Deployment Strategists are self-starters who immerse themselves in our customers' most intricate workflows, partner with customer teams and explore the data, and dive into the product landscape to enable us to scale. A select number of Deployments Strategists may also be deployed to Palantir internal teams and projects. In this role, the problems you'll tackle will require a curious and analytical mindset, a sharp intuition for product, and a strong degree of user empathy to ultimately empower our customers to make better decisions.

About the role There’s a wide gap between an agent that works in a demo and one that works across millions of live transactions. Closing it is the job. You’ll embed with the teams and customers who depend on AI — risk, fraud, collections, payments, support, developer experience — and design, build, and ship agentic systems into their production environments. You’ll also help build the platform underneath: Paytm’s AI inference platform (Pi) and the agentic runtime, orchestration, and tooling that lets agents reason, plan, use tools, and run multi-step workflows safely.

Platform administration isn't the part of the product anyone screenshots for a demo. Nobody's writing a blog post about your identity provisioning flow. But it's the thing every other team at Diligent quietly depends on more than any other dev team in the company and when it breaks, everyone notices immediately. If that kind of quiet, high-stakes ownership sounds appealing rather than thankless, keep reading. This role is for someone who wants real skin in the game: you build it, you ship it, you support it. We're a high-initiative team that improves things we see first and asks permission later, building secure, event-driven microservices in TypeScript on AWS, and treating infrastructure as code the same way we treat application code: with rigor, not as an afterthought. Here's a breakdown of what you'll do (not all of it, just the important stuff) Design and build secure, scalable full-stack services using AWS serverless tech (Lambda, SQS, API Gateway) — with real attention to event-driven patterns and observability, not just "does it work on my machine." Own your services in production. That means building good observability, keeping an eye on alerts, and responding to them before they become bigger problems. Build infrastructure as code with AWS CDK and push for CI/CD that ships safely and often — not "big bang" releases you have to pray over. Design RESTful APIs other teams will actually want to consume: clear contracts, sane versioning, no surprises. Write tests — unit, integration, end-to-end — as part of how you build, not a chore you do after. Show up to architecture discussions with opinions and documentation, not just vibes. Use AI tools to move faster on coding, debugging, testing, and research — but you're still the one who validates the output. These are the essentials you'll need to get an interview 2-3 years of professional software engineering experience in an agile, full-stack-focused environment.
