About the role We're hiring a Marketing Chief of Staff to keep Cohere's marketing org moving at full speed without coming apart at the seams. You'll report to the VP of Brand and work across the whole function: brand, editorial, design, product marketing, demand generation, and integrated marketing. This is not a strategy-only role, and it isn't a glorified project-management seat either. In any given quarter the org is shipping product launches, field events, partner campaigns, and demand programs in parallel, often across regions and time zones. That pace is the reason the role exists. Your job is to make sure the right work wins when everything feels urgent, that plans turn into shipped work, and that the VP of Brand and the leadership team spend their time leading instead of firefighting. Be clear-eyed about the shape of the work. A lot of it is operational: the planning calendar, the budget, the headcount plan, the weekly business reviews, the cross-functional handoffs that break when nobody owns them. The grind is the job. You should want that part, not tolerate it. One boundary worth naming up front. Marketing Ops owns th

Secure Every Identity, from AI to Human Identity is the key to unlocking the potential of AI. Okta secures AI by building the trusted, neutral infrastructure that enables organizations to safely embrace this new era. This work requires a relentless drive to solve complex challenges with real-world stakes. We are looking for builders and owners who operate with speed and urgency and execute with excellence. This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk. About Okta Secures AI Team The Okta for AI Agents Team is building the future of digital identity management. The way companies are using agents and allowing them access is undergoing a fundamental shift, enabling teams to move fast while staying secure. Our North Star is clear: To get AI right, you have to get identity right. We are not just managing identities; we are building the industry's first Identity Security Fabric for the agentic era. As organizations rapidly deploy AI, these non-human entities are acting with access to critical tools, often bypassing traditional perimeters and creating a 'Shadow AI' crisis. Our mission is to move identity from a reactive gatekeeper to a unified control plane, transforming AI risk into business ROI. We are tackling this by implementing a comprehensive four-pillar maturity model: Discover, Onboard, Protect, and Govern. We are driving innovation by defining the standards for Agentic Identity—including pioneer work with securing AI Agents and support for protocols like MCP. You will be helping us build the infrastructure that allows enterprises to scale AI safely, ensuring every access decision—whether made by a human or an automated agent—is authenticated, authorized, and audited at scale. We are a diverse team of engineers, product managers, and designers who are bringing Okta’s expertise in identity to define the future of Agent Identity management, focusing on enablement while staying secure. About the role
At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it. As a Staff Software Engineer on the Automation - Foundations team, you will lead the re-platforming of the data layer underneath Vanta’s entire compliance product. This is a migration that spans multiple teams, has to preserve every public API contract along the way, and cannot lose a single customer’s evidence while it happens. Foundations is Vanta’s data platform team. We ingest security and compliance data from across our customer’s environments, currently tens of thousands of resources per second, with single-customer bursts running into the millions. We store the data, catalog it, make it queryable, and turn it into evidence that has to survive a real SOC 2 or FedRAMP audit. We are in the middle of moving our platform from a Mongo-centric architecture to a schema-aware, Postgres-backed architecture, on a Kafka and S3 pipeline that decouples data fetching from processing. Both pipelines run in parallel today, the hard problems here are correctness under migration, eventual consistency, and multi-tenancy, in a domain where “mostly right” is not an acceptable failure mode. Visit our Vanta Engineering Blog to learn more about what our team is working on. What you'll do as a Staff Software Engineer at Vanta: Lead the migration of Vanta’s resource data model from a Mongo-centric solution to a schema-aware Postgres-backed solution and running both generations in parallel without breaking a customer integration. Drive solutions across teams that you do not own but are dependent on the platform built by your team. Design for correctness under eventual consistency with idempotent session handling, conditional writes that survive out

We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Platform org - the group that powers product development across Vanta by building the shared foundations that every engineering team builds on top of. This hire will join one of two closely-aligned teams within the org, each working on foundational challenges with company-wide impact. Application Primitives is responsible for the shared, customer-facing platform components that product teams implement across the product: examples include comments, notifications platform, event log infrastructure, and agentic audit trails. This team sits at the intersection of platform and product - not pure infrastructure, not pure product - building the reusable building blocks that let other teams ship faster and more consistently. Libraries & Foundations is a brand-new team that owns Vanta's internal engineering libraries and golden-path patterns. Sitting between core platform and product platform in the stack, this team builds the TypeScript-first abstractions and shared foundations that all Vanta engineers build on top of - including event-driven architecture libraries, code quality tooling, and test frameworks. You'll be evaluated for both teams based on your background and interests, and the decision on team placement will reflect where your skills and passions are the strongest fit. You’ll build the core systems that power Vanta’s purchasing, trial, and renewal experiences for existing clients. This includes creating seamless checkout flows, self-serve upgrade paths, and intuitive renewal pages, as well as integrating with our evolving billing infrastructure.
