About Scale At Scale AI, our mission is to accelerate the development of AI applications. For 8 years, Scale has been the leading AI data foundry, helping fuel the most exciting advancements in AI, including: generative AI, defense applications, and autonomous vehicles. With our recent Series F round, we’re accelerating the abundance of frontier data to pave the road to Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), and building upon our prior model evaluation work with enterprise customers and governments, to deepen our capabilities and offerings for both public and private evaluations. About Data Engine Our Generative AI Data Engine powers the world’s most advanced LLMs and generative models through world-class RLHF (Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback), human data generation, model evaluation, safety, and alignment. The data we are producing is some of the most important work for how humanity will interact with AI. Our Approach As part of the interview process, you’ll be considered for opportunities across several teams within the GenAI Engineering organization, based on your interests, expertise, and business needs. Potential team placements include Allocation, Growth, Frontier Data, Trust & Safety, Pay, Operator, or Tasking Experience. Together, these teams power Scale’s AI data operations - from building high-impact datasets that push the boundaries of LLM capabilities, to optimizing contributor onboarding and incentives, to safeguarding data integrity through advanced trust, safety, and security measures. They work at the intersection of ML, operations, and analytics to ensure we deliver the highest-quality data at scale. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable systems across the full stack, including front-end, back-end, and infrastructure layers Implement high-impact features using modern technologies such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Temporal Collaborate closely with internal operators (your use

About the Role: Tubi's content platform is the engine behind one of the largest free streaming services in the world. Every play, every deal, every creator, every frame of video flows through systems CPE owns, and the surface area is enormous. Distributed services running on the hottest path of Tubi's traffic. Video pipelines processing one of the largest workloads in streaming. Workflow engines automating the operations that used to consume entire teams. Creator-facing products turning a back-office process into a real platform. And on top of all of it, an AI-native rebuild of the CMS that most companies aren't willing to attempt. This isn't a single-domain role. It's a platform where backend, frontend, video, infrastructure, and applied AI all collide at the scale where decisions actually matter, where an architectural choice ripples across millions of titles and billions of requests, and where the difference between "good enough" and "great" shows up in revenue. We're looking for builders who want to range across domains — backend one quarter, frontend the next, applied AI the one after that — and who want their work to be felt: by viewers when a title plays instantly, by creators when they go live the same day, by Content Ops when a workflow runs itself, and by the business when the platform stops being a cost center and starts being a force multiplier. The infrastructure is already there. The mandate is already there. What's missing is the people who want to build the thing, not talk about it. Come build it. This is a hybrid role based out of our Toronto office. You must be willing to travel to our Toronto office two days/week. What You'll Do: You'll work on systems that sit at the heart of Tubi's business, where the content pipeline meets the viewer, the creator, and increasingly, the AI agent. The work spans the full stack of a modern content platform: distributed services, video infrastructure, workflow automation, and applied AI, all running at

Our mission is to increase the velocity of business impact from GenAI. A central pillar of that work is running frontier open-weight LLMs and VLMs (such as GLM, Qwen, Kimi, and DeepSeek) ourselves — real-time GPU serving, high-throughput batch inference, and fine-tuning on autoscaling GPUs — delivering large cost and latency wins (for example, a billion embeddings produced roughly 20× cheaper and visual models served roughly 72% cheaper). We also own core platform surfaces including the LLM Gateway, Agent Gateway, evals infrastructure, guardrails, and cost attribution. About the Role You will join a small, high-leverage team building production infrastructure for Generative AI at DoorDash, leading the design and architecture of our open-weights model platform spanning inference and fine-tuning: real-time GPU serving, high-throughput batch inference, and model fine-tuning. You’ll set technical direction across model serving and inference engines, fine-tuning and training pipelines, GPU autoscaling and utilization, batch pipelines, backend services, and observability, and mentor engineers as you go. About the Team: Tubi's Internal Tools team is at the forefront of AI integration, developing everything from developer resources to production-grade AI for business operations. We are the group responsible for turning AI from an experiment into an operating capability: training, infrastructure, developer agents, and AI-powered business systems. Engineers operate with high ownership and autonomy, collaborating on shared architectural decisions and AI infrastructure. What You'll Do: Own systems end to end — design them, build them, and support them in production. Lead the projects you own: sequence the work, decide what lands first, and set technical direction for the engineers working with you. Sit with the people who use what you build, and turn what you learn there into a system. Design the service boundaries, contracts and schema evolution that let our platforms grow without breaking the teams depending on them. Make our AI systems dependable in production: evaluation harnesses, human approval steps before an agent acts, retries that handle a model returning something unexpected, and cost tracking that tells you what a task costs before you run it. Build what other engineers build on — agent skills, tool and MCP integrations, shared libraries — and raise the bar through code review, design discussion and mentoring. Spot the platform work nobody has asked for yet, make the case for it, and build it. Your Background: 5+ years of professional experience building and operating production systems, from design through production ownership. A system you designed and can walk us through end to end — where its boundaries sit, what constrained it, and what you chose against. Strong programming proficiency in a statically typed language such as Rust, Go, C++, Java, Kotlin, C#, or TypeScript. Production Rust is a plus rather than a requirement. You have owned a service in production: you wrote the runbooks, you knew what it cost, and you were the one paged when it broke. Expe

You will be working with React, Node.js, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and CDN infrastructure to build and deploy high-performance applications that reach millions of users. This is a hybrid role based out of our Toronto office. You must be willing to travel to our Toronto office two days/week. What You'll Do: Work with product management and other stakeholders (Backend, Product, and UI/UX) to iterate on new growth-related features, including registration, onboarding, and SEO. Lead the technical architecture and implementation of scalable and resilient applications that run on multiple platforms, such as web, mobile web, and smart TV devices. Lead and drive innovation in building experiment-driven features that push the boundaries of user experience in streaming. Consistently ship features and improvements across Web and OTT apps with minimal guidance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact updates. Identify and implement improvements in shared UI components, platform-specific optimizations, and overall front-end infrastructure. Take ownership of the codebase and proactively identify opportunities for refactoring and development process improvement.
