At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it. As a Staff Software Engineer on the Automation - Foundations team, you will lead the re-platforming of the data layer underneath Vanta’s entire compliance product. This is a migration that spans multiple teams, has to preserve every public API contract along the way, and cannot lose a single customer’s evidence while it happens. Foundations is Vanta’s data platform team. We ingest security and compliance data from across our customer’s environments, currently tens of thousands of resources per second, with single-customer bursts running into the millions. We store the data, catalog it, make it queryable, and turn it into evidence that has to survive a real SOC 2 or FedRAMP audit. We are in the middle of moving our platform from a Mongo-centric architecture to a schema-aware, Postgres-backed architecture, on a Kafka and S3 pipeline that decouples data fetching from processing. Both pipelines run in parallel today, the hard problems here are correctness under migration, eventual consistency, and multi-tenancy, in a domain where “mostly right” is not an acceptable failure mode. Visit our Vanta Engineering Blog to learn more about what our team is working on. What you'll do as a Staff Software Engineer at Vanta: Lead the migration of Vanta’s resource data model from a Mongo-centric solution to a schema-aware Postgres-backed solution and running both generations in parallel without breaking a customer integration. Drive solutions across teams that you do not own but are dependent on the platform built by your team. Design for correctness under eventual consistency with idempotent session handling, conditional writes that survive out

Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Platform org - the group that powers product development across Vanta by building the shared foundations that every engineering team builds on top of. This hire will join one of two closely-aligned teams within the org, each working on foundational challenges with company-wide impact. Application Primitives is responsible for the shared, customer-facing platform components that product teams implement across the product: examples include comments, notifications platform, event log infrastructure, and agentic audit trails. This team sits at the intersection of platform and product - not pure infrastructure, not pure product - building the reusable building blocks that let other teams ship faster and more consistently. Libraries & Foundations is a brand-new team that owns Vanta's internal engineering libraries and golden-path patterns. Sitting between core platform and product platform in the stack, this team builds the TypeScript-first abstractions and shared foundations that all Vanta engineers build on top of - including event-driven architecture libraries, code quality tooling, and test frameworks. You'll be evaluated for both teams based on your background and interests, and the decision on team placement will reflect where your skills and passions are the strongest fit. About the Team: Tubi's Internal Tools team is at the forefront of AI integration, developing everything from developer resources to production-grade AI for business operations. We are the group responsible for turning AI from an experiment into an operating capability: training, infrastructure, developer agents, and AI-powered business systems. Engineers operate with high ownership and autonomy, collaborating on shared architectural decisions and AI infrastructure. What You'll Do: Own systems end to end — design them, build them, and support them in production. Lead the projects you own: sequence the work, decide what lands first, and set technical direction for the engineers working with you. Sit with the people who use what you build, and turn what you learn there into a system. Design the service boundaries, contracts and schema evolution that let our platforms grow without breaking the teams depending on them. Make our AI systems dependable in production: evaluation harnesses, human approval steps before an agent acts, retries that handle a model returning something unexpected, and cost tracking that tells you what a task costs before you run it. Build what other engineers build on — agent skills, tool and MCP integrations, shared libraries — and raise the bar through code review, design discussion and mentoring. Spot the platform work nobody has asked for yet, make the case for it, and build it. Your Background: 5+ years of professional experience building and operating production systems, from design through production ownership. A system you designed and can walk us through end to end — where its boundaries sit, what constrained it, and what you chose against. Strong programming proficiency in a statically typed language such as Rust, Go, C++, Java, Kotlin, C#, or TypeScript. Production Rust is a plus rather than a requirement. You have owned a service in production: you wrote the runbooks, you knew what it cost, and you were the one paged when it broke. Expe
About the Role: The Growth team is responsible for building and optimizing the UI/UX across all Web and OTT applications at Tubi. The team primarily focuses on implementing features related to full funnel user acquisition and growth, including SEO user registration, onboarding, and account management. As a Staff Engineer (L5) on this team, you act as the technical leader for one or more Growth areas. You own the technical architecture and direction, solve ambiguous problems that few others can, and influence cross-functional teams across multiple pods. You will work closely with Product and Design to develop cutting-edge, experiment-driven features, while driving the front-end architecture that ensures performance and scalability for millions of users. You will be working with React, Node.js, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and CDN infrastructure to build and deploy high-performance applications that reach millions of users. This is a hybrid role based out of our Toronto office. You must be willing to travel to our Toronto office two days/week. What You'll Do: Own the technical roadmap and architecture for a Growth area with large amounts of ambiguity: driving direction across web, mobile web, and smart TV platforms, and influencing the team to invest in new projects. Solve challenging, ambiguous problems with a focus on scalability and performance; proactively identify systemic issues and propose innovative solutions. Lead and drive innovation in building experiment-driven features; independently design, implement, and interpret a series of A/B experiments that move growth metrics. Lead and coordinate major rollouts and releases: including cross-team coordination, migrations, and phased releases of major initiatives across Web and OTT apps. Establish team-wide quality and engineering standards; set the bar for code quality and front-end best practices. Identify and implement improvements in shared UI components, platform-specific optimizations, and overall fr

About the Role: Tubi's content platform is the engine behind one of the largest free streaming services in the world. Every play, every deal, every creator, every frame of video flows through systems CPE owns, and the surface area is enormous. Distributed services running on the hottest path of Tubi's traffic. Video pipelines processing one of the largest workloads in streaming. Workflow engines automating the operations that used to consume entire teams. Creator-facing products turning a back-office process into a real platform. And on top of all of it, an AI-native rebuild of the CMS that most companies aren't willing to attempt. This isn't a single-domain role. It's a platform where backend, frontend, video, infrastructure, and applied AI all collide at the scale where decisions actually matter, where an architectural choice ripples across millions of titles and billions of requests, and where the difference between "good enough" and "great" shows up in revenue. We're looking for builders who want to range across domains — backend one quarter, frontend the next, applied AI the one after that — and who want their work to be felt: by viewers when a title plays instantly, by creators when they go live the same day, by Content Ops when a workflow runs itself, and by the business when the platform stops being a cost center and starts being a force multiplier. The infrastructure is already there. The mandate is already there. What's missing is the people who want to build the thing, not talk about it. Come build it. This is a hybrid role based out of our Toronto office. You must be willing to travel to our Toronto office two days/week. What You'll Do: You'll work on systems that sit at the heart of Tubi's business, where the content pipeline meets the viewer, the creator, and increasingly, the AI agent. The work spans the full stack of a modern content platform: distributed services, video infrastructure, workflow automation, and applied AI, all running at
