Your Opportunity As our Senior Manager, Compliance in Bangalore, you will play a pivotal, highly strategic role in New Relic’s global finance organization. Unlike traditional, siloed compliance roles, this position sits within our uniquely structured Integrated Tax and Compliance team. We believe that high-quality tax filings are entirely dependent on robust, accurate statutory financials. By managing the statutory financial reporting and audit processes end-to-end, our integrated team ensures a seamless, high-integrity data flow directly into our international tax return filings. The Honest Reality & The Partnership: Currently, our global statutory financial preparation and audit process is fragmented, and we are actively working through bottlenecks that impact our filing timelines. To bridge the gap, our Director of Global Tax & Compliance has been personally managing this function day-to-day. Because of this, we aren’t starting from scratch. We have already diagnosed many of the root causes, mapped out where the process breaks down, and formulated clear hypotheses for future improvements. This is not a "maintenance" job, nor is it a solo rescue mission. We are looking for a true strategic collaborator. About the Role: We are looking for a rockstar Senior Product Manager – Lending Risk to lead the Merchant Lending Risk charter at Paytm. You will own the risk product strategy that powers unsecured merchant loans, balancing aggressive growth with rock-solid credit quality and regulatory integrity, while partnering closely with Risk, Data Science, Engineering & Business. Key Responsibilities: * Define and drive the product roadmap for merchant lending risk. * Build and scale rule engines (BRE), decision engines, and model orchestration layers. * Implement audit-ready decision logs and explainability layers. * Build robust policy versioning and experimentation infrastructure. * Lead a team of credit risk analysts owning underwriting, risk, fraud, and monitoring.
