Okta is searching for a SOX Senior IT Auditor to join its internal audit team and assist in the successful execution of Okta’s global SOX program. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player capable of overseeing IT general control and application control compliance walkthroughs and testing. Reporting to the SOX Program IT Manager, key operational responsibilities include: Perform SOX IT general control and application control walkthroughs and testing to determine whether internal controls over financial reporting are designed and operating effectively Actively follows and champions the SOX methodology with limited guidance Lead SOX IT auditors with confidence and help in their knowledge and development Able to pinpoint systemic causes of control breakdowns and the associated technical gap that generated or permitted the issue Review staff auditor work product and provide clear, actionable feedback to aid in their audit methodology understanding Identify opportunities, provide recommendations, and gain stakeholder agreement on root cause of issues and appropriate corrective actions Develop collaborative relationships with business and IT stakeholders Leverage technology in order to rationalize or automate control activities In addition to essential SOX responsibilities, individuals in this position are also responsible for assisting the Internal Audit team in risk-based operational audits Required Qualifications: BA/BS degree in accounting, finance

POSITION SUMMARY The Consultant is responsible for supporting the Consulting Services Team in delivering cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance services across a diverse portfolio of client engagements. This role operates as a flexible, deployable resource, contributing to multiple concurrent or sequential engagements based on business needs. This role requires proactive initiative to study, ask questions, and rapidly learn the organization’s solutions, methodologies, and delivery standards. Consultants must be comfortable transitioning between engagements, adapting quickly to new client environments, and delivering value immediately. Consultants focus on executing client deliverables, enhancing service quality, and improving project efficiency under the guidance of senior team members. They are expected to develop broad subject matter expertise, contribute to process improvements, and build trusted relationships across a variety of clients and internal teams. SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as a deployable consulting resource, supporting multiple client engagements across varying industries, with a focus on healthcare. Adapt quickly to new client environments, priorities, and team structures while maintaining high-quality delivery. Support the execution of cybersecurity and compliance consulting engagements under senior leadership guidance. Work closely with clients to collect data, conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and document findings. Assist in evaluating client security postures, including vulnerability management, compliance alignment, and risk exposure. Develop and contribute to recommendations aligned with industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and HIPAA. Support clients in designing and implementing security controls, policies, and procedures.

Chartered Accountant with an Audit background Experience in, and thorough understanding of, managing, overseeing and applying controls across a Finance function, including those underpinning SOX and Operational Risk frameworks Good relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral. Confident and comfortable and experienced in engaging senior stakeholders Data and process analysis skills Committed to continuous improvement, self-motivated, confident, creative and capable of working effectively autonomously as well as part of a team Prior experience of designing and implementing new controls and processes Experience in change and transformation programmes Strong regulatory reporting control mindset; experience documenting and evidencing controls. Strong stakeholder management; comfortable engaging senior stakeholders. Data/process analysis capability; organised and self-directed. Knowledge of MREL regulatory reporting and traceability expectations (rules/interpretations/calculations/models/EUCs/data) strongly preferred.
