Opportunity Overview: The Data Platform team at Cohere Health is building a scalable, intelligent data ecosystem to power analytics, reporting, and operational decision-making across the company. We are seeking a Business Analyst II to serve as the bridge between client enablement and business needs and technical execution. You’ll work closely with clients, stakeholders, product managers, and engineers to gather requirements, write user stories, shape data solutions, and help drive the development of high-quality data products. As a Business Analyst II, you are expected to work independently on moderately complex initiatives, provide clarity and structure to technical delivery, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our processes and workflows. Opportunity Overview: We are seeking a Sr Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Intelligence team. In this role, you will drive the development and optimization of our analytical infrastructure, enabling efficient, scalable, and consistent reporting and analytics across the organization. You will play a critical role in shaping the foundation of our BI ecosystem—working at the intersection of engineering, data modeling, and stakeholder enablement. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced BI engineer who can execute cross-functional projects, design performant data models, and contribute to the execution of a unified data strategy across platforms. You will also provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and contribute to the evolution of Cohere’s modern data stack and governance practices. What you’ll do: Lead the execution and refinement of our business intelligence and analytics architecture, ensuring consistency, performance, and scalability across dashboards and self-service tools. Design and implement robust semantic and dimensional data models supporting operational, clinical, and strategic analytics use cases. Collaborate closely with data platform, analytics, and product teams to define shared data definitions, build source-of-truth datasets, and align transformations with stakeholder needs. Improve data pipeline efficiency and maintainability by establishing and enforcing best practices in dbt modeling, testing, and documentation. Support release management, quality testing, version control, and promotion of analytics assets across environments. Enable data providers and analysts to deliver high-impact dashboards and KPI frameworks using Tableau, with an emphasis on performance, usability, and governance. General Summary: The Services Portfolio Owner will have a technical focus and work with product managers, internal stakeholders, 3rd-party partners, and customers to gain a thorough understanding of their product and market needs, translating them into feature stories and tasks for development. You will be responsible for turning the product vision into an actionable backlog and advocating the customers’ needs to the development team. The Services Portfolio Owner is responsible for the development backlog, grooming, and acceptance. This individual will execute converting the product vision and roadmap into workable product requirements for engineering to meet product roadmap expectations defined by the Portfolio Manager. This role will report to the Manager, Services Portfolio and will regularly engage with cross-functional leaders. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in agile scrum and comfortable working in all aspects of a multifaceted delivery network. You will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, be self-motivated and detail-oriented, and be a good team player.
