Appian is seeking: Appian is seeking a Senior Developer Advocate to join our Developer Relations team. Reporting to the Manager of Developer Relations, your mission is to engage, retain, excite, and educate developers on Appian's strategy and innovations. You will serve as an Appian evangelist, showcasing the excitement of Appian's technology and the immense value of pursuing a career as an Appian developer. You will also act as a crucial internal advocate, ensuring the voice of the developer is heard throughout Appian. You will be responsible for: Driving content and interactions at both digital and in-person engagement initiatives to build a thriving developer ecosystem. About the role: As a Senior Software Engineer working on the Appian platform, your mission will be to ensure Appian is always fast, scalable and up to whatever tasks our customers configure it to do. You will be focused on designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems while providing technical leadership and mentorship and building a product capable of serving our customers in ways you never imagined. This role includes not just deep coding expertise, but also a focus on system orchestration, using AI Tools and AI integration (like RAG, agentic workflows, MCP), and aligning technical decisions with business strategy.
