About the team The Account Executive, SMB Grower team is a highly consultative sales team that is responsible for the growth and retention of Stripe’s largest and fastest growing SMB customers. As an Account Executive, SMB Grower team member, you’ll identify new opportunities for our clients to get the most out of Stripe by quickly understanding our clients’ needs, execute scaled sales strategies to close upsell and renewals with existing Stripe customers, and drive end-to-end campaigns to increase adoption of Stripe’s offerings. About the Team The SMB Business Development team works with DoorDash partners across Canada to help grow their business on the platform. We focus on growing, retaining, and expanding partnerships with high-value restaurant partners. Meal Boxes is DoorDash’s ambitious effort to help customers access craveable, high-quality meals at compelling value. We partner with standout restaurants in each community to create curated, filling meals that customers love and return to regularly. As we scale in Canada, this team will play a critical role in building the merchant base, refining the model by market, and establishing a repeatable path for growth. About the Role As an SMB Business Development Executive – Meal Boxes , you will help launch and scale Meal Boxes across Canada. You will own high-impact merchant partnerships, support new-market expansion, and help shape how we take an early model from 0 → 1 and scale it nationally. This is a highly consultative sales role focused on securing strong restaurant partners that can deliver both customer value and sustainable merchant economics. You will work closely with Canada leadership, Account Management, and cross-functional teams to refine the Canadian go-to-market strategy, develop sales playbooks, and identify what works across diverse markets.You will report to the Manager of SMB Business Development. You will work in a fast paced sales environment selling Hootsuite solutions to prospective customers. This role is a full sales cycle role from opportunity creation to close. You will be responsible for owning your own pipeline and generating outbound opportunities with companies that could benefit from Hootsuite as their social media management partner.
