The Opportunity As a Senior Air Operations Associate based in Vietnam, you will manage complex airfreight operations while providing hands-on leadership to a small team. This role is designed for experienced operators ready to take the next step — driving execution excellence, mentoring teammates, and contributing to process improvements that will shape Flexport's growing operations in Vietnam. What You'll Do Coordinate end-to-end airfreight operations in alignment with company strategy, global policies, and customer requirements Serve as the first point of escalation for shipment exceptions, resolving issues with urgency and sound judgement Coach and mentor team members to ensure SOP compliance, productivity, and a culture of continuous improvement Maintain high data accuracy and timely milestone updates across Flexport systems to meet KPIs and SLAs Oversee billing accuracy and cost control, resolving invoice disputes promptly and effectively Monitor and review vendor and carrier performance, providing constructive feedback and actionable solutions Support strategic initiatives including carrier integrations, client onboarding, and system or process upgrades Build

The Opportunity As an Air Operations Associate , you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth and timely air freight movements for our customers. You’ll coordinate daily with airlines, trucking partners, terminals, and internal teams to keep shipments on track. This role combines hands-on operations, customer service, and documentation work — helping deliver seamless supply chain execution while driving efficiency, volume growth, and profitability across our Vietnam gateway. What You’ll Do Execute end-to-end air shipments : Receiving booking, contact with shipper/consignee and agent to arrange the shipment within SOP’s provided. Input data into system to create file, completing Mawb and Hawbs, ensure correct & on time handling of files, file AMS or submit EDI (FHL/FWB) as required Timely invoicing to clients/ agents as well as checking and confirm incoming invoice of sub-contractors on time & correctly. The Opportunity This role reports to the Manager, Trucking & Warehouse (based in Ho Chi Minh City) and is a senior, high-autonomy position: you are expected to be the go-to person in Hanoi, capable of resolving day-to-day issues independently, and proactively improving how the team works Daily Operations & Execution Coordinate domestic trucking bookings: trucking only, or trucking attached to ocean and air shipments across Vietnam, including EXW pickups, port runs, and cross-dock moves. Fulfill ad-hoc trucking, CFS, and storage service requests from internal teams and clients. Track shipment and warehouse milestones, ensuring Flexport systems are updated accurately and KPIs are met. Act as the first point of contact for on-site issues in Hanoi, resolving delays, exceptions, and service issues directly with vendors and warehouse operators before escalating. Warehouse & CFS Operations Liaise with CFS/warehouse vendors to ensure service quality, safety compliance, and cost efficiency.
