Visit Insights team biographies at https://www.guidepoint.com/insights/#team What You'll Do: Content Creation and Research Coverage: Monitor a coverage universe of public and private companies within the TMT sector in Greater China (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau). You will cover the sector across multiple asset classes and structures. Track key industry trends, material news flows, earnings releases, investor presentations, research in key coverage markets. Identify and maintain a robust pipeline of company and industry specific topics — generate original ideas for discussion, covering business updates, event studies, channel checks, hot topics and other investment narratives Create and moderate teleconferences on the pipeline featuring an expert from Guidepoint’s network with the goal of producing actionable insights for clients Review teleconference transcripts to ensure quality of content. Summarize key discussion points Assist the external translation agency that the meaning of the teleconferences held in Mandarin are properly captured in the English version Process Management: Ensure Guidepoint compliance policies and protocols are adhered to Exhibit ‘ownership’ for the call by vetting experts’ relevance to Insights Teleconferences and ensuring their profiles’ accuracy. Role/Responsibilities: The Cubist Business Management team manages all aspects of onboarding new systematic trading teams as well as deployment of new trading strategies. The team also represents PMs with external counterparties and is responsible for rate negotiations, quant research vendor relationship management, and trading relationship management. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Complete project lifecycle management launching new PM Teams into production Educate PM teams on Point72 operating procedures and technology integration Lead new strategy rollout projects internally with Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Risk groups, and externally with brokers, exchanges, and vendors Provide day-to-day support for various operational procedures such as broker data management, compliance monitoring, trading, and business continuity The person in this role must have a technical background as well as good communication skills and a willingness to learn day-to-day trading and finance operations.
