Role Overview Cohere has a strong AI narrative, the most deployable product, and a CEO who co-authored the foundational paper of modern AI. The company is positioned to become the transatlantic leader in sovereign AI for enterprise and government, and needs a storytelling engine to deliver that story at scale. This role sits within the team that is building that engine. In this cross functional role, you will stand up our PR and Communications function in the APAC region. You'll partner with the global Corporate Communications team to create regional communications plans that fuel our growth among governments and enterprises in the most highly-regulated industries. You’ll nurture how we talk to customers, partners, and employees, ensuring that the corporate message resonates culturally for each region and audience. About the team The APAC Marketing team's mission is to engage priority audiences through impactful and relevant programs that drive awareness, growth, and adoption of Stripe across the region. Our Executive Marketing function sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, and senior leadership — orchestrating the programs that build and sustain Stripe's most strategic executive relationships across Asia Pacific. About the role The APAC Executive Marketing role owns the suite of programs that connect Stripe's leadership with the region's most important business executives. This is fundamentally a program ownership and governance role : you will design the frameworks, playbooks, tooling, and processes that enable teams across Australia/New Zealand, Japan, Greater China, India and Southeast Asia to execute these programs with consistency and excellence — rather than personally executing every detail. The programs in scope include: Corporate hospitality — activating Stripe's global sponsorship portfolio to deliver premium relationship-building experiences for executives in key markets Regional Advisory Councils (RAC) — extending the impact of Stripe's global Customer Advisory Board into APAC priority markets (Japan, Greater China, AUNZ) through targeted councils that gather voice-of-customer feedback and deepen executive relationships Global Delegation Experience — leading the APAC chapter of Stripe's invite-only delegation to Sessions in San Francisco, from field-level nomination through white-glove program execution in partnership with Corporate Events Executive visit orchestration — ensuring that Stripe executives visiting APAC are strategically deployed, their schedules are full and high-impact, and all outcomes are consistently documented Executive profile elevation — partnering with communications and marketing to build earned thought leadership presence for Stripe's APAC executives through speaking, social, press, and subject matter authority positioning Executive

About the Team The Corporate Security team supports the safety, security, and resilience of OpenAI employees globally. The Travel Security function helps employees travel safely and confidently while enabling business activity in a complex and fast-changing operating environment. About the Role As Travel Security Manager, APAC, you will own the regional delivery and continued development of OpenAI's travel security program across Asia-Pacific. You will support the full travel risk management lifecycle, from pre-travel assessment and preparation through active-trip monitoring, incident response, traveler accountability, and post-incident learning. Reporting to the Global Travel Security Manager, you will be the regional lead for travel security matters across APAC. You will work closely with Corporate Security, Protective Intelligence, Finance, People, Legal, Immigration, Global Mobility, Communications, Information Security, and external providers. This is a hands-on role for a seasoned travel security professional. You will independently manage complex cases, advise leaders on risk-based travel decisions, support travelers during incidents and crises, and build scalable regional processes. Broad APAC experience is important, and deeper operating experience in East Asia is particularly valuable. Travel across APAC and occasionally to other regions is expected to comprise approximately 25% of the role. In this role, you will: Own day-to-day travel security operations across APAC, including high-risk travel reviews, traveler briefings, monitoring, escalation, incident response, and traveler accountability.
