About the Team The mission of our Retention Marketing team is to build lasting relationships with our audiences – consumers, dashers, and/or merchants – as soon as they engage with DoorDash by providing them with a personalized, cross-channel experience that delights them and drives them to return to DoorDash to find the products and experiences that are relevant to them. About the Role As the Retention Marketing Lead for DashPass, you will define and evolve the membership marketing vision, translating subscriber growth and retention goals into CRM strategies and leading a team responsible for delivering high-quality, data-driven campaigns across email, push, SMS, promotions, and in-app messaging. You will collaborate with all parts of the business, ensuring cohesive strategy, clear prioritization, and measurable business impact on membership growth and retention. Since then, we’ve launched Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, Retail, and DashMarts while also building merchant services, dasher tooling and consumer products. Grocery is one of our highest priority, most complex verticals that is key to acquiring consumers to new verticals outside of just restaurants. About the Role We are hiring two Associate Manager roles on our Grocery Merchant Strategy & Operations teams to lead high growth segments of the grocery business - mid market and local grocery. In this role you will serve as the general manager of your respective segment – the central owner of the end to end merchant and customer experience to make them successful. Your role will include a mix of managing the day to day success of the segment, while also driving long-range strategic bets that are critical to the portfolio’s success. You will partner closely with product, engineering, finance, analytics and sales / business development to bring these initiatives to life!
