WHAT YOU'LL DO Perform daily cash and P&L reconciliations, collaborating with global teams to resolve breaks efficiently. Complete assigned daily tasks and reviews strictly within established servicelevel agreements. Lead workload allocation and foster talent development across the team. Partner with prime brokers, custodians, administrators, and external third parties to expedite break resolution. Act as a senior team member to resolve complex tasks directly with counterparties and internal stakeholders. Identify, prioritize, and implement straight-through-processing (STP) initiatives to enhance scalability, accuracy, and control. Deliver fast, insightful answers to P&L inquiries from portfolio managers, traders, and investment colleagues. WHAT'S REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred) 6+ years of Operations experience within a hedge fund, asset manager, bank, or fund administrator, including demonstrated leadership and ownership of complex operational functions. Strong product knowledge across equities, futures, equity swaps, FX, derivatives, and fixed income instruments. Advanced technical aptitude, with the ability to partner effectively with Technology and drive system and process improvements. WHAT YOU'LL DO Perform regular P&L reconciliations between front-office and back-office systems for the firm’s global portfolios. Partner with Middle Office, Back Office, and Valuations teams to investigate and resolve P&L breaks across all asset classes including equities, fixed income, and derivatives. Produce clear, accurate daily P&L variance reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders. Finalize portfolio manager P&L in our front-office systems based on thorough variance checks, calculations, and analyses to directly influence investment decisions, investor statements, and compensation processes. Respond to P&L inquiries from portfolio managers, traders, and investment services colleagues, providing fast, insightful answers. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance accuracy, control, speed, and efficiency in P&L reconciliation analysis.
