An overview of this role As an Intermediate Backend Engineer in GitLab's Agent Foundations stage, you'll go beyond using AI tools. You'll help build the foundations for GitLab's agentic AI experiences: the platform that lets AI agents work across the whole software delivery lifecycle, not just write code. That covers how agents are created, shared and connected to tools inside and outside GitLab, how they run, and how their work shows up and can be observed across GitLab. In this role you'll work closely with engineers across the stage and other AI Engineering teams. This is a high-visibility area where GitLab's core platform mee

An overview of this role As a Backend Engineer on the GitLab Agent Observability team, you'll go beyond using AI tools and help define how we design, build systems that allow AI agents to interact with the full software delivery lifecycle, way beyond pure code creation. In this role you’ll contribute to the development of complex features and help establish architectural patterns both for how to interact with AI Agents across GitLab and how the resulting AI contributions manifest across GitLab. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers across the Agent Foundations stage and adjacent teams within AI engineering. This is a hi

We work hard and care about our most prized asset - our people. We’re helping businesses get off the ground by enabling them to focus on running their business. We solve HR issues. We’re data-driven and never stop iterating. If you’d like to work in a supportive, entrepreneurial environment, are interested in building something meaningful and having fun while doing it, we’d love to hear from you. We're united by shared goals and shared motivations at Justworks. These are best summed up in our company values, which are reflected in our product and in our team. Our Values If this sounds like you, you’ll fit right in. Who You Are You are self-driven and like to work with others to remove roadblocks. You are curious and love to explore and learn new technologies. You have demonstrated the ability to build, deploy, and maintain large-scale, complex applications. You care more about solutions and impacting the customer experience than using a particular tool or framework. About the role: You will join a small, highly autonomous cross-functional team to build AI agents that fundamentally transform how operations work at scale. Instead of writing bespoke software for every workflow, we are developing an agent platform that can read operational knowledge, reason about it in context, and execute tasks end-to-end. This approach allows us to scale complexity through knowledge and reasoning, rather than simply through code. This is an opportunity to join a foundational team, which currently consists of fewer than five engineers. The work spans critical areas including LLM-powered agent design, robust backend service architecture, tool and integration development, and sophisticated knowledge infrastructure. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong pas

At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. We aim to achieve this by cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive. Lyft is looking for software engineers from a scope of disciplines. We are growing our team with people who want to build, improve and incorporate technologies that make the lives of our community more enriched. As an engineer at Lyft, you'll collaborate with teams like product, data science, analytics, and operations on code that empower us to iterate quickly, while focusing on delighting our passengers and drivers. The Applied AI team is looking for a Backend Engineer to join the AI Entries team. You will build the foundational infrastructure that connects Lyft to emerging AI ecosystems and devices and architect the APIs and orchestration layers that allow third-party agents and multimodal interfaces to interact with Lyft. By building these robust integration, you will help make Lyft available where our riders are. Responsibilities: Establish engineering best practices and patterns; help uplift the team's craft and drive a culture of engineering excellence Drive high-impact projects and innovate new solutions to deliver the best user experience Produce and drive scalable system design for large, complex features — from idea through execution and launch Mentor engineers on the team, providing technical guidance and supporting their growth Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge across the team Participate in the team's on-call rotation; identify, triage, debug, and resolve issues across our applications and platforms Have the ability to explain the various trade offs made in decisions Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. About the Team DoorDash’s GenAI Platform team sits within Machine Learning Platform and builds the shared infrastructure that helps DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo teams safely bring GenAI-powered products, agents, automation, and personalization to production. Our mission is to increase the velocity of business impact from GenAI. A central pillar of that work is our evaluation platform — the unified evals backbone that lets teams measure, trace, and trust the quality of LLM and agent systems across the company, powering trace/score ingestion, LLM-as-judge workflows, agent simulations, and LLM observability for the tens of millions of daily requests flowing through our LLM Gateway. We also own core platform surfaces including the Agent Gateway, open-weights model serving and batch inference, guardrails, and cost attribution. About the Role You will join a small, high-leverage team building production infrastructure for Generative AI at DoorDash, with a primary focus on our evals and LLM observability platform: the systems that let teams evaluate, trace, and continuously improve the quality of LLM and agent products. You’ll work across evaluation frameworks and SDKs, OpenTelemetry-based trace/score ingestion, LLM-as-judge and offline/online eval pipelines, agent simulations, data pipelines, backend services, and observability. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building reliable measurement and quality primitives in a fast-moving technical area where product needs, model capabilities, vendor ecosystems, and evaluation methodologies are evolving quickly. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Build the infrastructure that helps DoorDash teams move GenAI ideas from prototype to production, increasing the velocity of business impact from AI across the company. Work on our unified evals platform — evaluation SDKs, OpenTelemetry trace/score ingestion, LLM-as-judge, offline and online eval pipelines, and agent simulations — alongside the LLM Gatew
