Duties and Responsibilities: You will perform a range of respiratory diagnostic tests and procedures. You will analyze and interpret test results to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. You will maintain accurate patient records and ensure all procedures are documented appropriately. You will adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols. Qualifications and Experience: Essential: Clinical PFT/LFT experience. Relevant qualifications and registration as a Respiratory Physiologist. Minimum of 3 years of experience within the NHS. This full-time, ongoing position offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to start immediately. What will your responsibilities be? You will participate in all aspects of the Non-Invasive and Invasive Cardiology Department. You will perform 12 lead ECGs, fit and analyse ambulatory monitors, and conduct technician-led exercise treadmill tests. You will support stress echo services and Pharmacological MIBI. You will oversee the ambulatory ECG service, currently undergoing transformation, with support from the lead non-invasive cardiac physiologist. You will engage in cardiac catheterisation services, including left and right heart catheterisation, brady pacing, and Loop record (Reveal) implant and follow-up. You will work towards independence in angiogram, brady-pacing implantation and follow-up, and reveal device clinic. You will manage complex device implantation and follow-up (CRT, ICD), ideally with BHRS accreditation, in full or part. Qualifications and Experience: Essential: Relevant qualifications and experience in cardiology. IBHRE or BHRS accreditation is essential. Proven experience in performing 12 lead ECGs, ambulatory monitors, and technician-led exercise treadmill tests. Experience in complex devices, ICD, CRT, and ideally BHRS accreditation.
