This will be a defining role on the brand design team. You'll shape the motion language for Baseten and bring it to life across everything from product launches and social video to huge out-of-home campaigns, events, web, and experimental brand work. We're building a brand in a market that's moving fast, and we want the work to feel just as ambitious. This isn't a role focused on turning out one-off animations or supporting an existing system - you'll help define and build the system, push it into places we haven’t thought about, and set the bar for motion across the company. You'll partner closely with brand, product, marketing, and leadership to turn technical ideas into work that's clear, distinctive, and memorable. RESPONSIBILITIES Define and evolve the motion language for the Baseten brand. Create high-craft motion work across product launches, social, campaigns, web, events, and out-of-home. Concept and produce video content that makes highly technical products feel compelling. Think at every scale, from a five-second social clip to a Times Square takeover. Partner with brand designers to bring identity systems, typography, illustration, and product storytelling to life through motion. About the Role Mixpanel's website is the front door to our product and our biggest driver of pipeline — it's the first real experience most prospects have with us. We design, build, and ship it ourselves in Framer, treating it as a living product surface rather than a set of static pages. We're looking for an Interactive Web Designer who lives and breathes this work — someone energized by building, not just designing and handing off. You'll report to our Brand Design Leader, partnering closely with our Staff Interactive Designer and Website Manager, and working cross-functionally with Marketing and other teams to turn strategy into shipped web experiences. You'll design and build landing pages, bring product launches to life, run experiments, improve conversion, and keep raising the quality bar on the site. This is a high-ownership role on the brand design team, sitting between brand design and frontend engineering. We want the website to be one of the best expressions of the Baseten brand and one of the best developer-focused sites on the internet, which means treating it as a product that's constantly evolving rather than something we redesign every few years. You'll have a lot of autonomy to ship, while partnering closely with brand, product marketing, engineering, and leadership on bigger launches. RESPONSIBILITIES Own the design and frontend implementation of the Baseten marketing site. Ship landing pages, product pages, launches, and campaigns from concept through production. Improve the site continuously, finding and acting on opportunities to make it better rather than waiting for a redesign cycle. Partner with growth and product marketing to test messaging, layouts, and conversion improvements without sacrificing craft.
