POSITION SUMMARY The Clinical Lab Supervisor is a leader in Natera’s lab operations whose role is to oversee employees' performance and serve as a liaison between employees and senior management to meet company goals and quality objectives. The supervisor is responsible for daily supervision of lab staff performing duties such as laboratory testing and data review. Duties include but are not limited to coaching, motivating, staffing, evaluating, and training staff. The supervisor works closely with the manager to ensure company and team goals are met while adhering to good manufacturing practices and CLIA/CAP guidelines. The shift timings are from Monday- Friday , 1.00 PM- 9.30 PM PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for day-to-day staffing/scheduling/setting up sample run schedules. Ensures production work is consistently completed according to department goals. Ensures all case samples are processed and accounted for. Monitors team members to ensure adherence to SOPs and safety procedures Oversees training for new hires: works in conjunction with lead to train new hires. Document nonconformance reports and all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the established performance specifications as needed. Escalates protocol deviation to lead/supervisor. Assists manager in initiating and completing CAPAs. Handles employee issues. Collaborates with Manager and/or Human Resources to resolve issues. Ensures alignment with team for reasoning behind instructions/processes and changes Meets regularly with individual team members to discuss goals and progress. Responsible for staff performance reviews. Plans and leads shift meetings Maintains team morale and professionalism of team members, including by acting as role model. POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Director, Laboratory Operations is responsible for the management and oversight of all aspects of operations in order to provide the highest quality service including: clinical laboratory and laboratory operations. Knowledge of CAP, CLIA, California, and New York state regulations. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop policies, procedures, and performance standards to ensure efficiency and quality. Ensure efficient and customer-friendly service. Oversee all clinical and technical functions of laboratory, which includes: day-to-day production, equipment and reagent qualification, and training. Lead trouble-shooting teams to address urgent issues. Ensure that operations maintain all personnel, equipment and consumable resources necessary to match the demand and projections. POSITION SUMMARY Works closely with Senior Manager to ensure company, department, and team goals are met. You are responsible for ensuring that the laboratory implements testing while consistently providing accurate and reliable patient test results. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Review, approve, and sign-out reports for a variety of clinical molecular/cytogenetic and/or oncologic results, including NIPT, carrier screening, PGD/PGS, products of conception and rare disease testing on platforms including SNP array analysis, NGS, and other methodologies. Oversee the review of genetic and CNV variant data: interpret NGS and microarray results in the context of medical literature, online variant databases and other references along with relevant patient demographic data. Provide clinical and technical support for genetic counselors and other laboratory personnel. Set standards for laboratory testing and acceptable levels of analytic performance and ensure these are maintained. Analyze lab data, contribute to or write publications for high-quality scientific journals. May serve as Technical Supervisor. POSITION SUMMARY: Join Natera’s Oncology Research Use Only (RUO) team as the Laboratory Manager . You will take ownership of the physical operations, asset management, and Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) compliance for a high-throughput Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) research laboratory. This environment supports internal and externally contracted research studies rather than clinical diagnostic reporting. You will operate with pace and rigor, using data to anticipate bottlenecks and treating lab compliance as the foundation of execution.
